Whether you like that or disagree because it’s a little too Muslim for you changes nothing about the empirical evidence of their coverage.

I love this sentence. Speak truth to power.

I'm locking this post since there isn't enough meat on the bone from the source that was provided.

I am no expert and can only make a few guesses here based on my experience in the USA.

Generally speaking, most corporate billionaire owned news organizations are just propaganda machines spewing misinformation (lies) in order to benefit themselves and fuck every one else.

However, there are quit a bit of independent media outlets ("...community-based, member- and audience-supported, nonprofit, not-for-profit, cooperative, and social justice oriented news publications, primarily based in the United States and Canada."). These have become essential for millions of people to stay informed since the corporate slop isn't working.

In brief, having news organizations that serve to inform the public is incredibly useful and should be maintained. It is a public service that has enormous benefits such as preserving our democracy.

The fact that more people signed sworn affidavits that they voted for Harris than tallied votes was enough for a judge to move to discovery makes this tonally different from the 2020 challenges that all failed.

I agree and I will be following the court case(s).

While state attorneys general begin their investigations, it only takes one U.S. senator to initiate the disqualification proceedings against the unelected and unfit occupant of the Oval Office.

Good.

"The rule of law is not a given in this Nation, nor any other. It is a precept of our democracy that will endure only if those brave enough in every branch fight for its survival. Today, the Court abdicates its vital role in that effort."

  • Justice Sotomayor, dissenting

It will be left up to us (the people) as it always has.

...we cannot rely on the rule of law, nor constitutional protections.

Come again? Most of us are relying on these things.

If you are saying that there is no 100% guarantee, then of course I agree.

Democracy sure was fun while it lasted.

Why do you say that? You believe that this one ruling has dissolved all democracy in the USA? If so, then please explain.

I hope you have a great time.
