Start with the little things you can change. Environmental noise, can you get headphones or earplugs? Social media making you feel down, curate your feed, change sites, or even take a breather. Change up a routine, try a different food, or a hobby. Whatever is in your power, a novel experience might be an idea. Decorate/personalize your space. Add some lights, tapestries, whatever you like. These are some ideas I’ve tried personally and enjoyed a few of.

My parents were 11 years apart (she the younger of the two). That would be such a dealbreaker for me.

Noaa has some of my favorite websites to visit…they remind me of the internet I grew up with. Besides being incredibly useful and informative of course.

No…I think understanding you may not be the target audience for the shows you are seeing is a good place to start, if you wanna watch anime, check out a different genre. I will watch a couple of genres and skip the rest. There were some real nice ones this season as others have said. A sign of affection was very sweet, apothecary diaries had a fun lead and was a nice historical setting. I’m not sure if it was this season but Somali and the forest spirit, the girl from the other side, the fire hunter…etc.

Interesting. I had developed shingles in my eye and described the pain as a 4/10. I felt more tired than in pain, but I’m told by others it’s the worst pain they’ve ever felt.

I’m afraid, depending on the administration, it might be hard to protect myself and others with what was previously considered common sense …vaccination, protective equipment, etc

What else are they gonna do? Play outside in the 100+heat highway adjacent parking lot?
