If you haven't tried No Man's Sky in VR, you're really missing out. I have about 800 hours in it (90% in VR) and still go back to it day 1 if a new Expedition.

Walkabout Mini golf is a must-have.

Myst and Riven are fantastic in VR.

Star Wars Squadrons, Project Wingman, MS Flight Simulator... Pretty much any flying game with a HOTAS setup is great in VR.

Same can be said for racing games with a wheel setup.

Alyx is truly fabulous, but there are plenty of other great VR experiences to be had.

And that's not even including what's available with the VR injection mods. Cyberpunk in VR is pretty awesome, even with the jank that comes with playing a pancake game in VR.

Yeah, this time English is their native language.

Saw a thing once, maybe Mythbusters, that showed how beavers are attracted to the sound of running water and want to stop it. In the show, they got the beaver to dam a speaker by playing river/stream noises through it.

That's a stethoscope for proctologists and OBGYN.

That's the goal. Maybe "Flowmeister AI" becomes the best Chia Pet tracker and makes gestapo searches useless.

I'm not familiar with how they work or what kinds of data they track and return. Would they be useful to track things like plant feeder changes, cpap cleaning schedules, ant farm maintenance...

Can you think useful alternative applications and life hacks for these apps?

edit: I know that there are alternative scheduling apps for virtually any need. That's not the point. I like finding new and useful ways to use existing things.

BURN IT DOWN!

BURN IT ALL DOWN!!

By that rationale, the nazi arm bands should be coming in a future update. After all, it's just a cosmetic item that players ask for.

It's because those motherfuckers desperately want to meet God and believe Trump is their fastpass to heaven.

Right? How about this: I'll keep the swearing to a minimum if you remove all the religious bobbles from your desk and stop talking about God. You don't have a monopoly on being offended, and respect goes both ways.

It's not a defeatist attitude because I still make sure to vote in every election and do what I can to move the needle to the left.

A pessimistic attitude, for certain. But I'm still participating to keep the candle of hope burning. I'm not defeated yet.

Not to say that everyone that votes for Trump is a Nazi, but we do know who the Nazis are voting for.

Not this time, certainly.

I'm aware that mammogram machines are torture devices designed by pancake enthusiasts, but I don't know if I ever thought about how it works for women with smaller breasts, and where that threshold is. Are mammograms only effective for B-cups and bigger (for example)? Are smaller breasts limited to manual exam and/or sonogram imaging?

Also, are there any correlations between tumor characteristics and breast size? i.e. are lumps in smaller breasts more dense than those in larger breasts? Are there different things to consider when doing a self exam if you have large vs. small breasts (will issues present differently based on breast size)?

Finally, guys, breast cancer isn't just for women. Get yourself a bit of knowledge about it in dudes so you know what to keep an eye out for.

I just moved into a new place and would like to take pictures of various areas and have ai adjust them based on input text.

For example, I'd like to upload a picture of my back yard and have ai paint the fence or add a shed or see if a new tree would look ok.

I've tried the GPT free image service, but it doesn't use the picture I provide, just creates an image based on my text prompt.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm fed on the 2025 cruise with my buddy, thanks to our scheming wives, and am curious if there is any advice or "pro-moves" we should know about.

Also, if you'd just like to share your experiences, that'd be cool, too.

My wife and I are moving from a condo to a house in a month and I'd like to set up a "proper" audio system on the property such that my wife can listen to one thing in her office, I can listen to something else in the garage, and my kids can listen to something in their rooms. The Sonos system is what I think I aspire to, but I haven't looked into things for a dozen+ years so don't really know what all is out there.

I currently have a bunch of Google pucks across the house, but would like better-quality audio than those provide.

Any alternatives to Sonos that have feature parity (or near-parity)?
