We federate with other instances, with our local communities being focused primarily on the above.

Today is the last day to apply to vote and to announce your candidacy for the MAGIC Monero Fund committee.

The MAGIC Monero Fund is a committee that oversees funds for the betterment of the Monero community. Similar to the Monero CCS, it fundraises and issues grants via MoneroFund.org.

The MAGIC Monero Fund is a part of MAGIC Grants, a 501(c)(3) charity (magicgrants.org).

This committee election is extremely important. Having a committee that can focus on the betterment of the Monero community allows for easier security audits, research projects, and development.

Voter applications and committee candidate announcements are now available for the MAGIC Monero Fund committee. Here is the election schedule:

5 December 2023: Committee and voter nominations open
31 December 2023: Committee and voter nominations close
6 January 2024: Voting opens
20 January 2024: Voting closes
~23 January 2024: Election results announced
31 January 2024: Newly elected members join the committee

There are 2 committee member seats up for election. Incumbents are allowed to run again.
