We federate with other instances, with our local communities being focused primarily on the above.

Registration is open with human approval, just to make sure there's no bots afoot. Approval should take less than a day (and are sometimes near instant)

PeerTube ha ricevuto un aggiornamento che dovrebbe anche essere l'ultimo prima della versione 7. Questa versione include diverse novità interessanti: una delle principali novità è la separazione dei flussi audio e video, che riduce le dimensioni dei file sul server e consente di trasmettere solo l'audio di un video tramite l'opzione Solo audio.

Questa funzione è utile per la trasmissione di musica (ad esempio facendo visualizzare solo una copertina dell'album) o per utilizzare meno banda quando si ascolta una conferenza senza video.

Altre novità includono la possibilità di visualizzare i sottotitoli in un pannello laterale, che consente di seguire i sottotitoli in tempo reale, tornare a una sezione del video cliccando su una frase e cercare una frase o parola per tornare a un punto specifico del video. Inoltre, è stato semplificato il pannello di download dei video, che ora visualizza le informazioni essenziali per ogni risoluzione disponibile, con l'opzione di includere o escludere l'audio nel file da scaricare.

Sono state anche apportate diverse migliorie all'interfaccia utente come ad esempio la possibilità di copiare facilmente i log degli errori del server e la possibilità per gli amministratori di istanza di cambiare il numero massimo di fotogrammi al secondo per i video.
