Now gets in legal trouble because they failed to use a form to assign bro as an alternative name
Not really. It would only be if the kid tells people to call him "bro".
Don't think I'm defending this stupid law, that's just a bad example. The point of this law is to make the school tell parents that they have a trans kid that wants to be called by a different name.
