D'Souza was convicted of making illegal campaign contributions in the name of others, i.e., he was a straw donor. I hate the American campaign finance system, and I hate it even more when someone feels they have to even go beyond what the shitty law allows. People like him are a big part of why the system sucks as bad as it does. So I feel no shame in calling him a felon.
