Yeah but I'm unwilling to root my device, so hopefully this will allow me to do some cool stuff too.

Right? At least go with Mcharlie.
The M can be silent.
Don't wear a hat. Judges HATE hats.
Idk what hats ever did but they're automatically guilty in a court room.
Maybe its the 'tism but I never gave a shit about most microtransactiony things unless they have a "pay-to-win" element. That's why I gave up on GTA online.
But if its just like "exclusive skins", I could give a shit. My default skinned character can still win against a guy in a bear-suit with a golden AK and that's really all I need. I have no particular FOMO of not winning the fashion part of the game.
I do wish games I could turn off their constant begging for my money though.
Could one not theoretically self-host a PW manager that also keeps a local copy of the database for times with no internet?
Idk if that doesn't exist yet or what, and there are plenty of other reasons against self-hosting a PW manager but that seems like a logical work-around for that particular problem. Keep your access when the internet is down, and keep your data out of third party control.
Agreed, however I recommended against "good talk", personally.
No one has ever said that to me after having what might actually be considered a "good" talk. I find it's usually only said by someone who has tried to start a conversation and I have failed to effectively reciprocate.
In my experience, one begets the other.
It's a pain in the ass because its difficult to use. Or, at least more difficult than it needs to be.
Even if you braid it while the blinds are already closed it won't work?
I haven't tried this yet but want to try when I get home. I worry about my cats getting tangled and one cord would be better than whatever the hell is going on with it now lol.
So a moped with a 49cc engine, astep-through design, and no pedals is a moped but a scooter with a step-through design and 49cc engine is a motorcycle?
That's confusing as fuck lol
Mopeds are similar but have pedals and can be used as a bicycle. The name itself, Mo-Ped" is a portmanteau for motor and pedal.
Motor scooters are different in that they have a cut out for the rider's legs/ feet so they don't have to straddle it the same way they would with a motorcycle. Both mopeds and motor scooters do not require a license endorsement here, while motorcycles, as defined in my original comment, do.
I'm honestly more afraid to offer an opinion or ask a question on Lemmy because there's always some high and mighty jackass that thinks they are the final authority on whatever topic and rather than have a discussion, people seem to just resort to name calling.
At least, that has been my experience.
Otherwise I've enjoyed it. It can be a cool place once you figure out how to block the malcontents.
