Exactly this. It was a very boring job, pretty much just filling out a form for people who couldn't /didn't want to do it themselves online... not sure what about it was worth sharing to begin with, would have been terrible content lol

Someone at a no-paper, no-phones call centre I worked at had their buddy film them taking a call then they posted it to YouTube, both of them got fired when someone in management apparently saw it online.

I always liked the translucent purple N64 and the controller that came with it. If they made a GameCube that way it would probably be my favourite.

Good idea I might try that. It was already ruined by the last tenant's cats this one is actually pretty good for using her scratchy cardboard and post (most of the time)

I know EXACTLY where to wear this first. I'll post an update in March.

Ironically? I noticed at some point in the last few weeks McDonalds switched from WB MultiVersus happy meal toys to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe...which came out in 2017 and somehow is still relevant enough to get happy meal toys

It's possible there was some fraud going on beyond what the article describes, (it wouldn't be the first time CBC posted an article missing some important context that might come later), but to me it seems like someone came up with a novel solution that was outside a rigid billing structure.

COVID 2020 was a terrible, bizarre time that's probably better left in the past and to punish someone who actually did some good while so many who profiteered with government benefits simply skated by just seems mean. idk, it's interesting.

The library is great! I'm going to pick up a radon detector the next time they have them when I'm there, I've borrowed a Kill-a-Watt meter a few times, pretty useful. The main branch has a makerspace with a 3D Printer, a cricut, a sewing machine and stuff like that.

When I lived in Toronto, the library had a number of free passes to museums every week, was nice to use those.

I agree, but this story is regarding the Provincial health plan, aka Canadian socialized medicine. These shots were taxpayer funded, it's the Province that wants the money back.

A Kingston, Ont., doctor celebrated for organizing drive-thru vaccination clinics that helped thousands get shots at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic is now being ordered to pay back more than $600,000 in fees for those same services.

Dr. Elaine Ma said she organized 45 mass vaccination clinics that administered roughly 35,000 doses between April 2021 and the following February.

Her work was recognized by the Ontario College of Family Physicians, which granted her its Award of Excellence in 2021, in part pointing to Ma's role in boosting local vaccination rates.

About a year later, the doctor said she received notice from the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) seeking to recoup the money she had billed for the shots — approximately $600,000, plus around $35,000 in interest.
