I have homozygous C677T mutations in my MTHFR gene, with homozygous COMT mutations further limiting neurotransmitter regulation. I feel very different when consuming foods high in activated folates, or related vitamins/supplements.

I used to get these when I had methylation problems, MCAS was producing too much histamine which clogged up my methylation

A combination of mast cell inhibitors, diet changes, methylation supplements and trying to address the root cause fixed it for me. No longer need mast cell inhibitors or too many supplements
