Sad how nations poorer than the US have easier access to higher education.

I think the ruling class sees the writing on the wall. They've convinced the American public to sell itself out, and we're just witnessing the results of that.

Really fricking cool!

Thank you for sharing this.

I honestly think it's pretty funny.

I like these guys.

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if this starts a trend of ultra-cheap "laptops" that are just hardware extensions for phones with no processing capabilities of their own.

It's great. We need to consider how many people live in 3rd world countries that only have access to Android phones.

If they can hook up a keyboard, mouse, and a monitor to those phones then it empowers these people to have more opportunities to compete and contribute to the digital space.

Giving them access to the tools of developers could be a godsend.

Hey everybody, this kid is just now realizing that the language people use reflects the world they live in!

Like it or not, we inherited a world where most professions were and still are occupied by males.

Honestly, you would get a lot more respect if you took a play out of the 'worker male' playbook and didn't complain about every little thing that makes you slightly uncomfortable. Over time, people would stop treating you differently because you're not acting different.

I don't want macbook-build quality anything.

It's like buying an extremely expensive prop that was only meant to be used in movies and breaks if it's used for anything else for a substantial amount of time.

That's because they don't want to.

We like to think life in America is so much better than that in Cuba, but have you tried being poor in America?

Trump is a great public speaker if you consider who his audience is.

The context is that judges are being removed so the people in power, like Hitler or Trump, can be above the law.

He's the one throwing a tantrum and calling me names because I don't like what he likes.

I'm guessing you're taking his side because you also have low standards. I see it all the time and don't expect more at this point.

Weird, you're overcomplicating things and receiving a worse experience as a result.

Just use ublock origin or adnauseam. Make sure you update/enable all of the blocklists in the settings.

I'm currently using the emulator Duckstation, but I'd be willing to switch to a different one if it's easier to set up online play.

Is it laziness? A skill issue? Did they really just not know how to do it and say "that's good enough"?

3D rotations require quite a bit of MATH, it wouldn't surprise me if they couldn't figure it out and decided it wasn't worth the effort.

I didn't watch Shippuden until way later in my life, and to be honest I was kind of disappointed by it.

I recall my peers constantly praising it as being "so much better" than Naruto, but I just don't see it. It's also not what I thought it would be like.

Shippuden ended up being a lot more like Dragonball Z and less about ninja wars in between the villages.

I would've liked to see more blood and weapons, broken bones, and fewer energy blasts.

It's kind of ironic, because a lot of what I expected Shippuden to be like was explored in the Obito flashbacks. It's ironic because while that's what I expected and would've liked to see more of, I almost feel like it was too bleak and 'colorless' to be a high-point of the series.

I dunno, there's also something about seeing kids fighting that adds an extra layer of significance to whatever is going on.

Seems like a goldmine of content for them to work on for the next decade+. Plenty of people will never experience these worlds or stories due to the turn-based combat, so giving them the Remake treatment could be the only way an audience ever finds them.

I would like to see FF8 remade next. It's the next logical choice becauase 8 comes after 7 and it's a solid world to leave the FF7 rut for.

The rest could be good, too, but FF8 would probably be the easiest to pull off successfully.
