Every so often, yeah. Usually $10-$20CAD or so.

Social media and news is overwhelmingly controlled or otherwise influenced/flooded by the right or those acting on their behalf.
Nothing is going to change until there are real punitive measures that are enforced as well as regulatory changes.
To drive while using one's cellphone is to risk killing other people around you. And the punishment for doing such is usually only a couple hundred dollars, assuming you are even pulled over in the first place.
That fine needs a few more 0's as well as the nullification of ones licence. Once people understand that getting caught while driving on the phone will financially ruin them then they might stop and think before doing it.
It is so hard to take the BC Cons seriously because of how goddamn crazy they are.
But I have to because they very nearly had a majority government and very likely will next election. Jesus christ.
Ehhhh I see people with Nitro-included cosmetics but not a lot that have the individually-purchased cosmetics. They exist, sure, but not even close to as many.
I mod a server with 40,000 users and I'm scrolling through the member list as I type this. Majority are either unsubbed accounts or they have the cheap basic Nitro. A lot of the cosmetics I am seeing are the free ones they've given away in recent events. Not many users have full Nitro and have their profiles all decked out with additional cosmetics.
They truly have zero clue how users actually use their software. Not a single person is going to use this just like every other stupid gimmick feature they've added in the past and then promptly removed.
Usually 8am but often shifts to 7:30am or earlier in the summer when the sun is up earlier.
You're not wrong, but that is not the point I was making.
Adblocking YouTube is 100% the best option. I agree there. But if someone does want to pay for membership then YouTube is, by far, the best deal. Their competitors are absolutely horrendous.
And if you pay for Premium you get all features and zero ads. Many of the competitors have paid options that still include ads.
Whether or not Premium is worth it is another debate entirely, but the fact of the matter is that it is simply a better deal compared to other streaming services.
Tims sign needs to be yeeted. They're American owned.
Luring people into doubting elections and democratic processes is a staple practice of fascist politics.
It's a win/win move for them. It casts doubt on democratic institutions and processes which weakens them and it, if successful, also may gain them a couple seats.
The public needs to start pushing back against behaviour like this. This was not even a super close election; there are very clear seat count differences between the incumbent and opposition parties.
