People don't always make decisions perfectly rationally, unfotrtunately.
What about fishing boats? They're coming back with a ton of extra weight in fish.

That's basically a space elevator (though space elevators are shorter and held up by centripetal forces). Unfortunately they're quite outside our technological capabilities at the moment.

Yeah you're not gonna have a good time if you talk about politics here, as very few people share your beliefs. But there are plenty of non-political communities you can be a part of.
How is lye nonhazardous? Can't it cause serious chemical burns? Maybe it's just in low enough concentration that that's not a concern.
I'm curious, do you use drag/dragself pronouns IRL? No hate towards them, I think they're cool; I've just never known anyone who only uses neopronouns.
