This really scratches the spot. Perfect post

Graf vision here. Good rhythm, the structure is musical. Succinct and quite evocative. I like it.

I would only question if you meant deliberate? And if you would like to go with adrifts or adrift?

Thats amazing. Hope you enjoy it

Very important figure in French poetry. Is shadowed over by Victor Hugo, although I personally do prefer Baudelaire.

I have wanted to start reading Adorno for a while now. Ideally something in the psychoanalysis field. Just can't seem to find the time or finish my existing projects

Had you told me this was written by Baudelaire I would not have second guessed you. Great job!

Reminded me of the ending to the Loki show

There has never been a twitter link shared in this community and its not a major threat per se.

I just decided to go through all the communities I created and block twitter now if people agreed. I've posted this message on like 6 of them. (Although ideally I would like to ban all centralised social media links at least)

It's just formalising what many of us believe (on Lemmy atleast, that's why we're here).

As for the lack of activity on this community, that's my bad, I'll be getting back to posting soon.

Had you told me this was a story from Celtic folklore I'd believe you. Great job!

Short story about 2 decomposing bodies. Kind of sexualizing decomposition.

Completely factually inaccurate but I think the concept is solid and so long as the execution is good enough, it might just be OK.

I like the visual writing style. A good starting idea to begin with great symbolic potential.

Adblockers are not allowed for this hypothetical.

'You can think of imagery as an entryway into a poem: a physical realm allowing us to explore the mind of the poet.'

I've wanted to start this community for a while. I feel a lack of original writing on Lemmy. Poetry tends to be short form and more accessible to many.

I intend to post my own writings, including some of my most personal stuff; writings not a single soul has seen. I would love to have you all join in, as lurkers, as posters, as poets, as enthusiasts. I look forward to seeing this community grow!

An Introduction. (self.originalpoetry)

Hello, fellow poets and poetry lovers!

I’m excited to open this new chapter here at OC Poetry! I’ve recently started to appreciate the ability of poetry to be a powerful way to express, reflect, and connect, and I’m looking forward to be a part of a community that values original voices and fresh perspectives.

In the days and weeks ahead, I’ll be sharing some of my own work with you all. From new poems to reflections on my writing process and personal interpretations, I hope my posts will spark some meaningful conversations and maybe even inspire others to share their thoughts, too.

I'm also here to learn from you! If you’re posting your own work, analysis, or poetry insights, I’ll be looking forward to reading, discussing, and celebrating what you have to offer. I would love your critique too.

Here’s to an inspiring journey of words and ideas! Let’s build a supportive space together—one that’s rich with creativity and thoughtful exchange. Happy writing and reading, everyone!

With love; Lacanoodle.

OK this was the last one. Had to post a few for Halloween, sorry for the dump. No other day defines an entire genre so I couldn't let this opportunity go.

I've posted some more iconic of his works already. This deserves to be here too.
