This is an unofficial fan community - JKR TERFing owns everything.
No form of Hate Speech or JKR apology is tolerated.
Please read all of the Community Rules before Posting/Commenting.
Rules:
01 Don't be a jerk.
Be kind to all posters and commenters. No trolling, hate speech, or flaming. Take it to your DMs.
02 Absolutely NO hate speech.
Do not engage in homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, ableism, xenophobia, or any other sort of assholery of any kind.
03 Posts must be related to Drarry.
04 Always credit artists and authors.
For any artwork, fic, or other type of media you find and post, you must credit the original artist. If you don't know the artist, reverse Google Image Search to try to find them. Any posts which don't credit the artist may be removed.
05 Don't yuck anyone's yum.
Different folks, different strokes, etc. Save any hate comments you may have about how much you detest XYZ trope or ABC kink and just move on.
06 NSFW content is allowed but must be marked as such.
07 Canon spoilers are free reign; be cautious of fic-specific spoilers.
Any material, lore, or information that comes from canon sources (e.g. original series, Fantastic Beasts movies, old Pottermore, etc.) need not be covered or tagged. If you haven't finished something and don't want to be spoiled, browse at your own risk.
That being said, as a courtesy and kindness, try not to spoil anything in fanfics. If you discuss the end or any sort of twist in a fic, please use a spoiler tag or take it to the DMs.
08 Be mindful when asking for top/bottom specific recs
you can ask for fics where either one of them strictly tops or bottoms, but don't use borderline homophobic language such as ''Harry bottoming is disgusting''.
09 Don't bash fics or authors, or even specific tropes
you can add your reviews for specific fics, but don't be rude or eccessively negative when commenting fics. several drarry authors read this subreddit and you could deeply hurt their feelings and keep them from writing more DRARRY AND WE ABSOLUTELY DON'T WANT THAT
10 No Top/Bottom discourse
lately i have noticed more and more posts where the question ''who do you prefer as top/bottom?'' has resulted in comments bordering on misogyny, heteronormativity and borderline homophobic stereotyping ofter coming up in the responses. i don't want to see this type of discourse on this Community anymore, so for now, I'd rather stop this type of posts completely from being published.
obviously you're all still free to ask for recs with either top or bottom Draco and Harry though!

All things written speculative fiction - books, short stories, poems, etc. As always, please tag spoilers and follow the instance rules.
Right. Rules:
- Be excellent to each other! If at any time you find you can’t be excellent to your fellow beings, refrain from using the internet until you can.
- No posts that are primarily aimed at promoting a book. This is a ~~community~~ sublemmy about the craft and business of writing erotic fiction. If you want feedback or critique about your book, story, cover, etc. that's fine. If you just want to promote it, there's better subs for that.
- I shouldn't have to mention this, but I probably need to anyway: No stories about sex involving minor (i.e. under 18 years old) characters.
- If you post smut, please label it NSFW.

Welcome to this little space for poets and poetry enthusiasts to share their original creations and insights!
Here, we celebrate the craft of writing poetry and the art of interpretation. Feel free to post your own poems, provide thoughtful analysis of your work or the poetry of others, and engage in meaningful discussions on poetic techniques, themes, and styles.
However, I request that you refrain from sharing previously published poems by other authors to keep the focus on original content. This is a place for personal expression and genuine poetic dialogue—let's explore the beauty of words together.

- Be kind.
- Constructive criticism is encouraged.
- Post original poetry, although analysis of prewritten works is allowed.
- Although it isn't disallowed please tag anything AI.

A forum to discuss and share content related to the Harry/Ginny couple in Harry Potter series!
Discord: https://discord.gg/ufeN2aK
Community Rules:
- All posts must be related to the Harry/Ginny “~ pairing!
All posts must be specifically related to the Harry/Ginny pairing. There are other Communities for Harry Potter, so we like to keep this area tailored to our interests :D
- No doxxing/sharing information ~~
This is a site-wide rule, but here is a re-iteration of Lemmy's doxxing policy. Please note that this rule applies regardless of who is sharing the information, even if OP shares it about themselves.
- No hate speech
All racist, sexist, bigoted, homophobic, or transphobic comments/posts will be deleted and offenders will be banned at mod discretion.
- No personal attacks
No personal attacks or insults. Intentional incitement of arguments, personal attacks, and threats will not be tolerated.
- No trolling
Anyone reported as a troll will be removed by the mods. Repeat offenders will be banned at mod discretion. If you are aware of a specific community that is linking our community/mocking our content, please message mods to let us know.
- No ship-bashing
We know that this sub is focused on Harry/Ginny, but please try to maintain a civil/polite tone when discussing other ships as well. There is a difference between a civil discussion on why another pairing might not work and a personal attack against all who support it. We do not tolerate the latter.
- No request bashing
No Request thread bashing. Do not utilize a request thread to make negative commentary on the subject or linked fics.
- No debates over character representation
No debate over a character representation being “inaccurate” for not being white/ cishet. No one is asking you to change your conception of a character, but due to an overwhelming number of blatantly racist comments, we cannot allow that discussion here.
- No uncredited art
All fan art MUST be properly credited to the artist, including a link to a platform where they posted the art themselves.
- No entitlement over fanworks™
We respect fanworks and authors in this Community.
The general population is entitled to absolutely nothingincluding endings of stories.
Threats of “finishing a story yourself” or “getting Al to write to ending” will result in an immediate ban if this has not been agreed upon with the author first.
We are, of course, a Community dedicated to all things Harry Potter fanfiction. All genres, ships, and settings are welcome. Please read the rules carefully.
1.) No personal information. Do not share real-life information about yourself, any author, reader, or user of the platform. This includes real names, emails, passwords, etc. Author profiles are allowed.
2.) No hate speech. We do not tolerate any hate speech or witch-hunting directed at a person or group of people. This includes specific authors, specific readers, and people who like specific tropes, characters, or ships. Homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, and other derogatory language are not tolerated. Violating this rule will result in an immediate ban.
3.) No personal attacks. No personal attacks or insults at another user, author, or reader. Purposefully inciting arguments by tagging another user or calling them names is prohibited. Threats will not be tolerated. Violating this rule will result in an immediate ban.
4.) No impersonating authors. Pretending to be an author and making posts and/or comments on an author's behalf will not be tolerated.
5.) Utilize spoiler tags. Spoilers only apply to fanfiction at this point in time. Spoiler tags are not required for any official media, including books, movies, games, etc. Surround the content of your spoiler like so: >!spoiler!<. Anything that reveals major parts of a plot (like a twist) should be tagged.
6.) No stealing content. Do not use this subreddit to circumnavigate the rules of other fanfiction communities, archives, or an author's personal will. Sharing fanfiction files against an author's will also violates this rule.
7.) Request Thread vs. What's That Fic? A Request thread should be used when looking for any fic that meets certain criteria. Example: Looking for fics where Cedric doesn't die after the tournament.
What's That Fic? should be used when looking for a certain fanfiction that you just can't remember the name of. Example: I read a fic where Cedric doesn't die after the Tournament and he establishes a safe house for muggleborns during the war. What is it?
8.) No Sexualization of Minors/Non-Consensual Sexual Content. Absolutely no direct links to fanfiction that involves minors in sexual or suggestive situations. Please see Lemmy's policy regarding this issue. Any direct link to such content will be removed. Gratuitous or positive depictions of non-consensual sexual content are also subject to removal.
9.) No bashing. Be respectful of other users' likes and preferences when posting. If a topic is not to your taste, use language that makes it clear it is your opinion while not attacking users. (Remember Rules 2 & 3.) This applies to all posts and comments in the Community. Example: "I don't think Harry and Ginny should have ended up together." is NOT bashing. Example: "You're a moron if you think Harry and Ginny should have ended up together. What kind of idiot actually enjoys those fics?" IS bashing.
10.) No Advertising. No advertising non-fanfics. This includes but is not limited to Discord servers, merchandise, paid applications, paid promotions, etc. Harry Potter fanfiction Communities may be linked as long as the content is not being spammed.
11.) No Politics Do not discuss real-world politics of any former or current country. This includes political beliefs, actions, events, and other similar topics.
12.) Discussion must be fanfiction related. Discussion must be fanfiction related. Any posts that do not discuss Harry Potter fanfiction at its core will be removed. This includes rehashing canon events, discussion of modern politics, and viewpoints of the author.

Users cannot spoil past the season the OP has flaired their post without spoiler markup. If the OP indicates in the text of their post that they have not finished the season their post is flaired, do not spoil them past where they are. Always put any future spoilers in the spoiler markup so OP has the choice to click and read or not.
