Then i took them chips and make pita dust! THEN I TOOK THAT DUST AND MADE IT A POWDER, THEN I TOOK THAT POWDER AND AND TURNED IT INTO AIR PARTICULATES, THEN I TOOK THEM PARTICULATES AND BREATHED THEM IN AND TURNED THEM INTO MESOTHELIOMA, then i took that mesothelioma and turned it into medical debt.

If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with pita mesothelioma, you may be entitled to compensation

Sounds like it was a PITA to make

It loafed me wondering if it was worth the effort, but I kneaded to try it at least once. Verdict, naan out of ten.

(read in Lois Griffin voice) "then make pita croutons. then pita bread crumbs. then pita powder to make...pita bread. its always pita fowevah...pita? Peeeetah! Are you listening to meeee?!"

Next step:

  • Take the chips and blend them.
  • Make new pita bread with the chips flour.

Edit: just saw I'm not the first one with that idea 😁

If you want a dish that incorporates these chips with chick peas and yoghurt check out fatteh. Its a levantine dish that's a little tricky to get just right but has a great balance of textures.

Oh dang. I just looked fatteh up, and I’m definitely going to try making it. That sounds delicious.

Looks amazing.

Honestly, though, I usually only make pita chips when I forget to take the pita out of the oven... ooops.

They were delicious! I was going to just make bread, but wanted some crunch to go along with the Moroccan style lamb tacos we had for lunch today. I should have taken more photos.

I made:

  • flour tortillas (first time, they came out wonderfully)
  • pita bread into garlic and onion pita chips (made the bread & chips on Friday)
  • fresh tzatziki (also first time, also delicious!)
  • spiced ground lamb meat
  • fresh pickled red onions

Nice, but isn't he that boy Katniss ended up with in Hunger Games?
