Fucking dig into him until he rage quits the interview, then show that on the news. Stop asking soft questions and letting them get away with lies. Reporters these days are becoming as guilty as the media themselves allowing these assholes to lie constantly and not calling them out immediately. Make them squirm and be accountable!

[–] CobblerScholar@lemmy.world 27 points 10 months ago

If the actual courts won't convict him then every man woman and child has to see him as a feckless liar, a pathetic toady that will say anything to get what he wants. He should never have peace outside of his house if he wants to act like this

Journalism is dead and capitalism killed it

"The people who make up the media are as guilty as the media" lolwut

[–] aodhsishaj@lemmy.world 11 points 10 months ago

Reporters are the media

I never said I was Jewish, I said I was “Jew-ish”

Wow

[–] Bakkoda@sh.itjust.works 15 points 10 months ago

Jewy and menschish did not poll well with the audiences.

"Of course my grandparents survived the Holocaust! My grandfather was one of the most decorated officers in the S... uh, next question?"

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 31 points 10 months ago

"My grandfather died in a concentration camp! He fell off the watchtower!"

[–] Son_of_dad@lemmy.world 21 points 10 months ago (1 children)

"my grandfather was a war hero. He killed 20 men, then spent the rest of the war in an allied prison camp"

[–] dublet@lemmy.world 26 points 10 months ago (2 children)

"My grandad was responsible for 28 downed German planes in WW2.

Still to this day holds the record as the worst mechanic the Luftwaffe ever had."

I gotta give it to you. I think this is the best one.
😂😂😂

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

"My grandfather destroyed an entire Nazi ammunition and explosives dump in WW2.

And that was the last time they ever let him smoke on duty."

[–] dublet@lemmy.world 14 points 10 months ago

"He managed to escape in the company car, a Mercedes-Benz 770"

[–] LetterboxPancake@sh.itjust.works 35 points 10 months ago (3 children)

That guy baffles me every time I read of him. Is he made of dumb or does he think everybody else is?

Nevermind. His voters don't care, so the latter it seems to be. Or both.

[–] zzzz@lemmy.world 25 points 10 months ago (1 children)

He appears to be mentally ill.

[–] nrezcm@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago

Yeah we know he's a Republican.

[–] banneryear1868@lemmy.world 7 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (2 children)

I love the one where he's being interviewed and the question is about what you do for Thanksgiving or something, his opponent is like, "oh yeah just good times with the family, we always get Haagen Dazs ice cream for a special treat." Then Santos is asked and he's like, "oh yeah I love those good times with family and Haagen Dazs ice cream, such a special time every year."

Found the clip it's amazing

[–] LetterboxPancake@sh.itjust.works 3 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

That reminds me about that special time of the year. We always get Ben & Jerry's, because it's clearly superior.

By the way, I'm right back, I need to... uh, check the freezer for Russians. Yeah, not ice cream, Russians.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Oh there's no taste like Haagen Dazs for the holidays...

[–] banneryear1868@lemmy.world 1 points 10 months ago

Sweatpants and Häagen-Dazs

[–] anon_8675309@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Clearly enough other people are or he wouldn’t be where he is.

He saw how Trump conned his way to the office of the president of the us and he did the same to get into congress.

[–] LetterboxPancake@sh.itjust.works 2 points 10 months ago

That sounds strange when I think about it, but Trump seems less insane. Dumb, cruel, immature, greedy, etc, sure. But less insane.

[–] snekerpimp@lemmy.world 30 points 10 months ago (1 children)

What did he do over the weekend? He hunted wolverines with a twelve gauge that were attacking his brother. What would you do in that situation? Gosh!

[–] eran_morad@lemmy.world 27 points 10 months ago

What a pathetic specimen. He hasn’t gathered yet that he’d be way ahead to simply STFU.

[–] Lophostemon@aussie.zone 5 points 10 months ago

Rubber-faced creep.
