I was literally having this discussion with coworkers Friday.
Why did we stop giving out prizes to adults for annoying tedious shit? Why do only kids get a loli and sticker for going to the doctor or dentist? Why no whimsy for us? I would 100% frequent a doctor who still said thanks and offered a prize!
Also can I have like a pangolin or whale shark please!?
Geocaching is fun because sometimes people hide stickers or toys. It’s not really “tedious shit” but still
...i give everyone i work with stickers when they do a good job, and they all go crazy for them: interns, bosses, the lot!..
...our CEO rolled his eyes at first and said they were patronising, then the entire staff catcalled him over it, so he changed his mind and loves getting stickers now, too...
