Getting a bollard stuck under your car on your fast lap is actually ridiculous!

He was a tenth or two up from the cutoff after sector 2 so I think he may have squeaked into q2.

So they placed a bunch of cameras around the track and still can't properly tell when someone is off. Come on, just use gravel.
The fuck did max do on that 2nd lap? The lap in which he almost ended up in the barrier was faster.
Ridiculous quali by the Hulk, Gasly and Bottas
Even with that slide Verstappen is currently at P1. That was a monster lap.

Good lap by Bottas. After Zhou's points last week I'm rooting for the second Sauber to score points.

About Hamilton. He was in the bottom 5 before the bollard. So did it really hurt him?
Well that was a wild one. Good effort up and down the paddock!
Why didn't Russell get a penalty for impeding?
No idea. It looked really weird on his onboard. Half like he knew Lawson was coming, because he positioned himself on a really weird part of the track, and half like he didn't know Lawson was coming because he suddenly jolted his steering when Lawson got close. I guess technically he was off the racing line? And from Lawson point of view it's hard to estimate if he was actually impeded or not because he had to break anyway. Probably came down to whoever had to make the decision as there's enough gray area to go either way.
That said, had the roles been reversed Russell would've complained all the way to the stewards to penalize Lawson. I'm not against Russell not getting a penalty but i would've found out far more satisfying if he did get a penalty.
