[–] ericbomb@lemmy.world 15 points 1 year ago

How dare you suggest the obvious thing!

[–] theKalash@feddit.ch 3 points 1 year ago

I also like SpiritOfTheLaw.

[–] MojoMcJojo@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I came here to consume, not produce.

More diy and home improvement shit.

Not appear, but to actually take off. There is !spiders@lemmy.world, but there is hardly any activity.

So please, go out there and take pictures of spiders and post them.

[–] ericbomb@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm an old r/spiderbro enjoyer, so as long as they accept pictures of me talking about how I appreciate my room mate spider I might stop by!

[–] theKalash@feddit.ch 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

!spiderbro@lemmy.world also exist!

Any spider content is generally welcome. Unless it's suggesting killing or harming them, or making false claimes about their danger. As long as you love them, it should be fine.

[–] ericbomb@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yay spider bros!

With how many flies are in my house I keep wondering how many spiders I could release in my house before it becomes a problem.

Flies are noisy and up in my business all the time and trying to get on my food.

Spider bros just wanna find a nice corner where flies will run into them and chill out.

Thank you for answering how you feel.

How you feel is wrong. But it's still appreciated.

[–] SkaveRat@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 1 year ago (2 children)

just don't typo it into "pooping", because that would be weird and gross

[–] zcd@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 year ago

Everbody poops

That's the one with the pimples, right? I still remember having seen that .... I wanted to forget. Why did you remind me?

I really did enjoy popping my own though. I just don't understand why you would want to watch it from other people.

I'd like HighQualityGifs to move or catch on, here.

[–] Annoyed_Crabby@monyet.cc 9 points 1 year ago

Something like toolgif or specialisedtools, but sadly it has to wait until lemmy enable mp4 embed.

Do it! Create the community, set up some rules, and wait for people to discover it.

[–] charlytune@mander.xyz 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I don't have the knowhow, the time or the brain energy. Already spinning enough plates.

!cattorneys_at_paw@lemmy.world is desperate for clawyents. Does your cat need legal awwdvices?

[–] ExtraMedicated@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

I used to enjoy browsing r/shittyaskscience and r/mildvandalism.

[–] Zephy@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

AITA. I'm subbed to a few alternatives on Lemmy, but they're all dead. Sure, I could start it myself, but it needs other people to post to actually be worth it.

[–] Bishma@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Most of the things I like to follow have communities I want are here. But there are a number where there aren't enough subs to make it a real community yet. Often this is because there just isn't a ton of OC to post because they're not super popular. Like my favorite band (!pearljam@lemmy.world), my favorite video game (!oxygennotincluded@lemmy.world), or my favorite TV Show (!taskmaster@feddit.uk - the show is quite popular though)

[–] Semi-Hemi-Demigod@kbin.social 5 points 1 year ago

The MST3K and Stargate communities here aren't terribly active and I lack the leet meme skills to help

[–] Gleddified@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 year ago

A few real niche ones, I also miss AOE2, and r/e30 now and then

[–] timicin@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

r/topsandbottoms and r/pecsandpecbouncing are the biggest subs that keep me on reddit.

[–] FunkyMonk@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

Like a month before the migration I found out Mike Pondsmith and Fam commented on the cyberpunk TTRPG board, that was pretty cool.

[–] Mathazzar@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

I'm hoping for hungryartists to show up.

television communities that weren't for probably crappy shows

[–] ChamrsDeluxe@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

The renfaire community. Also disneyvacation/notdisneyvacation.

[–] drummerguy520@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

I'm hoping for a more active Counter-strike community. There are a couple out there, but not much activity. It's pretty much the only thing I still check regularly on Reddit.

[–] dragonflyteaparty@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Parenting or mom specific. I've only seen a dad community that says dads only.

[–] WhyYesZoidberg@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

an active /r/peloton clone

[–] redballooon@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

My favorite podcasts

[–] p_diablo@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

I miss the crew from r/woodstoving. It's about the time of year to be posting our wood stacks and testing the moisture content and commenting about cooler nights making us think about firing up the ole stove!

[–] DirigibleProtein@aussie.zone 3 points 1 year ago
[–] SkaveRat@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 1 year ago

/r/rats - a pet rat community. Neither masto nor lemmy have any ratcontent

[–] shininghero@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago (4 children)

The furry community is either very sparse here, or I haven't used the search tool properly.

[–] TurboDiesel@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've seen a single SFW furry thing here yet.
