Rules: (interactive)
1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them
2) All posts must end with a '?'
This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?
3) No spam
Please do not flood the community with nonsense. Actual suspected spammers will be banned on site. No astroturfing.
4) NSFW is okay, within reason
Just remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either !asklemmyafterdark@lemmy.world or !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com.
NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.
Reminder: The terms of service apply here too.

Not appear, but to actually take off. There is !spiders@lemmy.world, but there is hardly any activity.
So please, go out there and take pictures of spiders and post them.
I'm an old r/spiderbro enjoyer, so as long as they accept pictures of me talking about how I appreciate my room mate spider I might stop by!
!spiderbro@lemmy.world also exist!
Any spider content is generally welcome. Unless it's suggesting killing or harming them, or making false claimes about their danger. As long as you love them, it should be fine.
Yay spider bros!
With how many flies are in my house I keep wondering how many spiders I could release in my house before it becomes a problem.
Flies are noisy and up in my business all the time and trying to get on my food.
Spider bros just wanna find a nice corner where flies will run into them and chill out.
You need the right spiders. I have at least 6 Pholcus phalangioides in my flat. They dutifully stay put just at the edge between the ceiling and wall.
My home is well protected. Every bug crawling around on ground to mid-level is vanquished by may cats. If they go high, the cellar spiders are waiting.
But sometimes I have to be lucky to safe a spider from my cats, when it wanders too far down.
