But we have the DNC and the Dem's most popular politicians doing a nationwide tour whipping up support and explaining why shit is fucked and how we can fix it.

So what are Bernie and AOC doing besides screaming fight Trump exactly? We are almost a year in and they still present no plan. Except starting of every speed with Israel has the right to defend itself, apparently.
You would hope that politicians like them who are getting paid to do this stuff full time would have something more meaningful to say than we need to organize. They are the people who are supposed to present the plan. And they have no plan.
Their raison d'etre is preventing people from organizing around those who actually do have plans.
Going to red and purple districts and explaining how Republicans are fucking them over, and what progressives can do to fix it if they're elected in enough numbers.
It's been less than 4 months since Trump took office...
They can not do anything without the numbers, which is why they're talking to constituents in districts most likely to flip and telling them to pressure their Republican representatives I to breaking against trump. Literally the only way we can do anything till midterms.

Being angry is a prerequisite to the things you listed, and also, you forgot the most important item: Organize. There's simply no way America gets a happy ending without a general strike, and the work to make that possible starts now, right this second.
I'm of the opinion that MLK Jr. was largely successful because folks saw the alternative was Malcolm X... and they still fought MLK Jr. tooth and nail.
You need two things to get a political movement going. First you need to reach a critical mass by creating public sympathy for your movement. This can almost only be done with peaceful protests like MLK. Violent resistance is too easy to demonize and shut down when people do not sympathize with your cause.
Then the critical mass needs to be turned into action, which is what Malcolm X did.
If you start off the movement too radically, it will never be able to reach critical mass.

For comparison he shares a lot of policy views with AOC and Bernie, but they wanted to reform the Dem party by kicking neoliberals out of DNC leadership.
It was a long fight but we just accomplished it.

It would be great to reform our political system and do away with the two parties. But trying it now would be insane.

Waiting until this point is what's insane, sticking with the Democrats now after they did a game of chicken with their own voters over a genocide they were fully supporting is what would be insane. The reason democrats are a failed political party is because they have done nothing but align themselves more and more with Republicans. After 4 years of people screaming at Biden to stop being bipartisan and hang these fascists they campaigned on putting more republicans in the cabinet than Biden. Bernie and AOC are there to keep people like you happy and shut you up when you ask for more than crumbs from the party proper. It's working marvelously.

I just wanted to make sure you weren't saying the DNC is run by Bernie and his ideological allies. Even if it was, Bernie is not the socialist voice of America that he claims to be, and his actions both historically and in the current day should tell you as much.
A progressive dnc doesn't fix the issues of consultants, it doesn't fix the moneyed interests, it doesn't fix lobbying, and it certainly doesn't help us get a socialist elected. Idk what the plan is. David Hogg isn't a socialist. The establishment dems are already attempting a coup because David Hogg dared to say they might have to consider fighting for something at some point in the future. He's barely progressive and the democrats proper are reacting like they got holy water thrown on them.
This is not the hope you seek. The true hope is within your community with the people who will actually show up and fight for you when there is no food left on the shelves. We're past waiting for the DNC to realize their role and take up the mantle to save America, they were given that opportunity and chose over and over to instead be the party that delivered us into collapse. Please, I'm begging you. Don't keep waving the flag for people who would sell your foundations from under you in seconds if given the chance. There are actual political movements that plan on giving power back to the people who deserve it: the workers. Help them. They don't believe the democrats will do what they're saying, why should you? Unionize your workplace, organize your neighborhood, canvass with dsa and see what a real progressive movement looks like. This bullshit the dnc is trotting out will be visibly farcical to you after having done work on the ground. I cant help much more than that, the answers will become clear when you surround yourself with actual goal oriented activists instead of democrat stooges.

You're thinking of the DNC as a single entity and not ~500 voting members...
Most of which had been there for a very long time and are now slowly dying off or less often retiring and giving their seat/vote up.
Those are the type of people they've been getting replaced with, it's been a long process and has taken decades of a grass roots movement to accomplish.
I've been waiting for this since I was a kid and watched the DNC close ranks to protect Bill Clinton for lying under oath.
I'm gonna give it more than 3 months before declaring it a failure.
I'll agree to give it another 3 months and see where we are, and I appreciate you not getting bogged down in the minutia and sticking to broad strokes. Like I said, I believe we are envisioning the same future and I dont want you to think I am fighting against you. My first election was 2016, so I'm a bit more cynical. I have less optimism for those 500 members to seize the moment instead of entrenching their dying position one last time. Could it happen? Sure. I just feel it's equally as likely that a grassroots movement takes its place. I hope for the sake of the country you're right.

The only way anything will change before midterms is if a handful of Republicans break from trump and flip the House or Senate.
That's why AOC and Bernie are touring red districts and telling them to contact their Republican reps.
It's very unlikely to work, but makes beating them in midterms more likely since the Republicans aren't helping their voters now.
So 3 more months?

Personally I'm cautiously optimistic, but the midterm primaries is where we'll really know what Martin's DNC is like. But every sign so far has been a good one.

I think highlighting the real issues to the population is important because right now the blame for everything is wrongly put on immigrants and minorities.

To not paraphrase, the point was that oct 7th was a less egregious act of violence than what Isreal had been doing and is doing currently.
So yea, it's fair to say that it doesn't change much if the oct 7th had behaded babies or if it had Palestinian gifting flower crowns to Israeli snipers martiring themselves while singing Imagine.
Considering that Israel does the equivalent of an October 7 against civilians in Gaza roughly every few weeks, yeah whether or not rapes happened on October 7th doesn't really change the overall situation.
To put it into perspective, the October 7 death toll is roughly 1,200. Since then, the death toll in Gaza has been around 40,000. No amount of rapes on October 7th will absolve Israel or change the dynamic.
