For those who somehow missed it, the Dolphin on Steam project has ceased after contact between Valve and Nintendo. Though we disagree with their stance and decision, we respect Valve's right to impose whatever restrictions they want within their private storefront. Please read the full article for details. Fortunately, all that means is that nothing is going to change. We're going to continue working hard to improve Dolphin and make it the best emulator it can be. If reception to Baldur’s Gate says anything, it’s that people hate microtransactions in their AAA games.

Intel has disclosed a new vulnerability (INTEL-SA-00812) that affects the company's Arc A770 and Arc A750, two of the best graphics cards. Classified with a medium severity rating, the potential security flaw may permit denial of service or information disclosure.

The chipmaker recommends that consumers who bought an Arc A770 or Arc A750 between October to December 2022 contact Intel product support in their region for help.

Source code for Quake II's 2023 rerelease is now available for all. The classic gameplay brings modern updates and is as modder friendly as Doom. The code is GPL-licensed and on Github now.

I will inevitably buy the game, but I swore off buying anything at launch. I played both baldur's gates games, both neverwinter nights games and all of their expansions. Each one was easily my favourite game at the time.

How does the new baldur's gate compare to these?
