knee to knee twin fiddles on this Marcus Martin tune.

Just a cool tune from their Old Sledge album. Fun-to-play A part, some might say excessively twisty B part. It is a puzzle!

Great tune, and Dan Gellert playing some really cool fiddle seconding on this one. Another recording of them playing it from back in 1993.

Twin fiddles of Rhys Jones and Cleek Schrey are locked in. Lots of closeups of John Herrman's banjo work in this vid. More info re the pickup band bigfoot

Nice version of this tune, which I think originates with Benny Thomasson, couldn't find the source recording of that though. Old time cello!

Looks like they're keeping the numbers down in that jam by wedging themselves between two cars 😄

As far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with the Irish tune of the same name.

Kim Johnson on banjo, Jesse Pearson on fiddle. Rest of the album is great too.

Kim Johnson on banjo, and I think Cody Jordan on fiddle.

34

and Steve Arkin banjo, Erica Weiss guitar.

Great version of this classic jam tune.

That's Trisha Spencer and Howard Rains on fiddles; Kellie Allen and Pete Peterson (of the Orpheus Supertones) on guitar and banjo.

This tune has become a standard in my area. Its apparently from Nacogdoches Tx, which is not far from Louisiana - definitely has a cajun flavor to it.

Bluesy version of Shanghai Rooster. Going on my to learn list! Check out that vibrato from Ben Hunter.

38

Chance McCoy on fiddle, Adam Hurt banjo. Rockin version of this tune!

Sweet Bundy played by Clare Milliner and Walt Koken, authors of the 1400 tune Milliner-Koken collection. In 2020 they started recording a ton of fiddle tunes and posting them on youtube.

Was looking around for a good Shuffle About and found this from Pete Sutherland. The Jaybird that precedes it is pretty good too!

AJ Srubas making 140 bpm look easy. Clean and fast!

Great version of this tune from the exceptionally happy Canote Brothers

Judy Hyman played this tune on Bob Carlin's Banging and Sawing record back in 1996, and here it is again in 2024, Ithaca style.

Nice twin fiddle version of this tune, which is apparently from the english ballad.

"They've invented a new machine, I peg one shoe it pegs fifteen"

From Tricia Spencer's 2012 solo album. I think that's probably with Mark Ward on banjo and Betse Ellis also on fiddle.

Ripping version of this mississippi tune from "Jeb and Mark" plus Andy on bass according to the comments. No idea who's playing guitar. No one looks up!

carter brothers version.

Tractor Family version, Ithaca style.

Travis and Trevor Stuart playing an original G tune "Henry King's Reel". Frequently called at my local jams. Travis is playing a two finger banjo style instead of the usual clawhammer.

Cool ragtimey tune, with train activity in the background. The 1929 original from Prince Albert Hunt’s Texas Ramblers. "Feel like a jug of molasses"
