Integration between WordPress and ActivityPub has been a long time coming. It's existed in several different iterations over the years, but the latest attempt is directly sponsored by Automattic, the owners of WordPress. This article covers some basic how-tos and explains some various quirks in the integration.

In March, WordPress.com owner Automattic made a commitment to the fediverse -- the decentralized social networks that include the Twitter rival Mastodon

I went directly to https://noworriesto.day/ and I don't see any posts. Apologies if I missed some news or if I am just somehow not doing something correctly.

This has got to be the vaguest kind. The guys running this corner of the fediverse have better internet access than me, may have 5x better PCs than me and have the power to check my account several times, and still ban me for this.

I hope they review this a hundred times again. I mean, look at the gap of my comments'/posts' date there...I only sparingly use the upvote and downvote there, based off my feelings on certain posts or comments. (And here I thought they will not copycat the orange app's voting system...)

If they have decided to keep this decision forever, I hope #Kbin will be kind to me...

Hey everyone! I’m Ategon one of the admins over in programming.dev

I noticed theres been a lack of a bridge of communication between the various fediverse platforms. Lemmy has our own little matrix space that people in lemmy have been talking to each other in, kbin also has their own, and mastodon doesnt really have a central location for pure communication

As such ive started up a Fediverse Hub matrix space so that we can all talk to each other and get on the same page. Hopefully from this we can also work together and discuss to get the cross platform federation working better between the various platforms (instead of things like the mess that is the current Mastodon & Lemmy interactions)

If youre a developer of a fediverse platform, an admin of a fediverse instance, or want to check to see whats going on feel free to join

You already knew that #kbin is a great replacement for #twitter and can be used with #mastodon. You also already knew that kbin was a great replacement for #reddit. But did you know that kbin can filter by #photo and #videos; making it a great replace for #instagram and #tiktok? Learn more at:

Blocking isn't working, can't view my notifcations, both get the weird error screen, is anyone at all still working on kbin, is anyone out there to assist in fixing these things?

A comment on a Hacker News thread on a Business Insider article titled It’s not just you — no one is posting on social media anymore got me thinking about my experience with switching to Mastodon and why I have found it a refreshing experience.

Threads, Meta's new microblogging platform, is updating its terms to focus on data collection from "Third Party Users".

Oddly, I don't feel disgusted about having a robust list of blocked users, communities, and domains on the fediverse. Instead it actually feels like I have some level of control over what I see, rather than say, "suggesting" to YouTube that I don't want to see more neo-nazi propaganda and hoping it actually listens to me.

Yo, what's up? I'm on kbin!

Kinda already like it a bit :-)

So on random@kbin.social I saw a lot of bots posting links to obvious scam websites (enter personal details and do "human verification“ to win an iPhone). What’s the best way to get the attention of a moderator or an admin (because I don’t think this sub is moderated at all) to remove these posts

It’s definitely going to be interesting to see this.

I hope Threads soon becomes available in Europe since that's a HUGE audience to lose from an app. After all, Facebook and Instagram are available in EU, so for Europe to be all of a sudden having strange feelings about Meta? This is kind of strange.
They haven't done this before, have they?

I understand that with certain laws coming into effect that it could be a problem

I'm thinking, y'know how Mastodon and Kbin are kind of part of the Fediverse? I've decided to use Kbin, and it's interesting.
It's smooth even on the mobile web browser (that's surprising, I rarely see that!)
Come follow me on Mastodon @CandyRushSweetest for Linux stuff and maybe some art & my @CandyRushSweetest for my "problematic fiction" takes and also my artwork! (I may repost NSFW or things that make you uncomfy - like Lolisho, for instance, so please keep that in mind when you follow me on Aethy. Other than that, mastodon.social doesn't have that stuff on there

Also, I'm on Misskey as well: @CandyRushSweetest & @CandyRushSweetest!

Honestly, when it comes to the Fediverse, I find that seeing these posts on my Mastodon Account is really useful!

When I figured out that kbin wasn't a Mastodon server, I was curious!

I actually can see why someone might like it here!

The character limit doesn't exist, so that's nice!
