It is not illegal to send money by mail and there are legitimate reasons to do so. This is a blatant money grab by a corrupt government.
People really want to believe that her plan is terrible and would make regular people like them suffer more and pay more and it would destroy the middle class and aren’t we suffering enough! Well technically, as demonstrated by some proposed anti-abortion laws, the right to travel is not enumerated and thus, according to some republicans, does not exist. Just like the right to privacy. So if you are already drinking the koolaid, travel restrictions are possible.
