Yeah I 10/10 believe the world got too big and too detailed for him to handle. Hot take: I don’t think he’s nearly as talented a fantasy writer as he puts on. Readers already started pointing out inconsistencies. Then when you add in how the show ended, I’m sure that sealed the deal for him that the story will be “under construction” in perpetuity.

Yeah it’s called online propaganda. Russia is known for spreading propaganda via social media. The same thing is happening in the US, and probably across the “West”. Russia is using propaganda to convince young people that the West/US are bad, and dammit, it’s working wonders. Young people are gobbling it up in droves.

Disney. They are the problem. Pixar used to be an independent studio until Disney bought it. They bought it in 2006 but a bunch of movies were already well into development (like Up). I believe Toy Story 3 was the first movie that Disney completely oversaw. Sure, there’s an occasional gem like Inside Out, but the issues started once Disney took over, rammed in sequels/prequels no one wanted, and gave up quality storytelling in order to make a profit. Bob Iger can get fucked.
