Why is it ok to replace -ed at the end of a word with -t in some cases? For example, why are "vexed" and "vext" both acceptable, but "thrilled" and "thrilt" aren't? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

Just wondering if this is a common thing people do lol. Saw a flight to Ireland was an ATR-72, a prop plane. so I chose another flight and I got an A320 instead

Worse if you're not a Time Lord or an octopus (or other multi hearted animal). They'd probably beat out of sync and cause turbulence in blood flow, which is quite bad.

I (32 F) like the look/vibe (love the flannel/plaid look especially). I also like how intimidating they can be. I'm not sure how I'd go about trying to find one, though.
