Columbo spoils all the action scenes at the start of the episode for no reason

Drag speculates that 200 years ago some bad writer mixed up "nothing but" for "all but" and now we're dealing with the consequences because nobody since then has bothered to do any critical thinking. It's a very simple problem with a very simple solution.

Drag disagrees. Drag thinks they were actually very few things but irrelevant fifteen years ago. Perhaps in addition to being "irrelevant" they were also "old fashioned" and "pointless". But not much else. Mostly just irrelevant.

Drag has never heard of this. So much for this being posted in "world"

It is the 41st Millennium. For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor of Mankind has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the master of mankind by the will of the gods and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the vast Imperium of Man for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day so that he may never truly die.Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance.

I've known him a long time — indirectly, not directly very much — and he was always of European heritage and he was only promoting European heritage. I didn't know he was Black until a number of years ago when he happened to turn Black. And now he wants to be known as Black.

No, Norway is social democracy.

Drag doesn't think Armstrong is capable of good faith. Good faith means acting with a bare minimum of prosociality. Raiden thinks Armstrong would agree violence breeds violence. Technically that's true, but Armstrong doesn't have any problem with that. He's pure, unashamed evil. There's honesty, but no good faith.

Drag asked someone to cite a source the other day and they refused. They wanted drag to cite a source for saying there wasn't evidence. You can't prove a negative!

Standing here
I realise
You're just like me
Trying to make history

But who's to judge
The right from wrong
When our guard is down I think we'd both agree
That violence breeds violence
But in the end
It has to be this way

Raiden is 100% wrong about Armstrong approaching any of that situation in good faith. But it's a great song and Raiden became cooler when he accepted that he's allowed to do "bad" things to bad people.

"I told you that my sword is a tool of justice. Not to be used in anger. BUT THIS ISN'T MY SWORD."

Should they have known before the backlash started?
