I found Pikmin 4 problematic in a way too. You get the best toys at the very end so you end up not using them very much

Patient gamers do not face a lot of disadvantages, but they do include (artificial) scarcity, waning official support and facing old-ass design choices that might not look very favourable anymore.

My problem with this is that once the game is 100% complete, do I want to still play just to see a different cosmetic?

I don't really see this as an issue, but as a choice. Back in the day, games lasted a lot longer. Hell yes we wanted to play as Metal Sonic. The next best thing we had was replaying the game as just Sonic.

This will probably not get as much attention as other FFF's, but I absolute love how they are determined to optimise the quality of life across the globe.

So Gucci Burkas are a-okay legally speaking as they advertise the brand.

If they had a deal with Gucci to advertise for Gucci, yes. Just wearing brand clothing doesn't mean you are legally advertising for them, just practically.

I hate how none of the Dutch (mainstream) media talks about these events either, only about what happened to the Israeli hooligans after.

I dont care what you say in your review, but if you clock 8000 hours in a game I'm pretty sure you liked it enough to keep playing, or you're actually just addicted and need to seek help.

I will die on this hill

Idk how to feel about Jerusalem Post links. I was going to comment about how the article is devoid of any details, and then I read the last line: they use GenAI to help write their articles.

Public places in this context isn't the streets. It's the local government office, the local library, a supermarket - places that will not allow you to cover your whole face. It's sensational to talk solely about burqa's and niqab's, but this applies to motorcycle helmets and balaclava's too, of course.

I rarely downvote but this deserves one.

If you want to be able to edit and delete comments from others you might want to look at hosting your own website where you can rule however you like.

This presidency is a revenge tour for Trump, he even stated so himself. Millions are getting deported. Environmental regulations, human rights and workers' rights are stated to be discarded.

Yeah, 2003 seemed pretty reasonable.

Am I reading this right? Norris needs to finish 1P higher than Max to keep the title fight alive, 2P if Max got the fastest lap?

Clicking on the first two trending communities revealed a single post and a few comments. What makes it being listed as "trending"? or does it also just show new communities?

I know showing Windows is a bit of a cop out, but I was confused by this message

Is this a friend request, a space invite, something else? Can I find a description somewhere or am I supposed to get invites from people I know?

I only use new to "refresh" my list of filtered content:

  • AI generated images
  • The bazillion of RSS bots that host no discussions and just post 5 threads in a row
  • Non-English content that I can't read anyway (not their problem obviously)
  • Porn
  • Thirsty anime models
  • I probably forgot some more content I'm not interested in

Do you use "new" for anything specific?

edit: I listed "spam" in the title originally, I felt this was unfair
