Exactly what I was going to say because this hit me a while back. I still have no good solution; I have to delete shows/movies from the *arr then manually delete them from qbitorrent too.

This happened extensively to the US Japanese jammed into internment camps during WWII.

Easily one of my favorite shows, but I still upvoted you. Rock your own opinion.

I rewatch every time my depression flares up, and I'm even more depressed by the end. And I hate Bojack more each time instead of instinctively siding with him. But I come out the other side feeling a little lighter, almost like having a good cry from a sad movie.

I watched so much when I was younger but I pretty much stopped 6 or 7 years ago. I'll watch a Miyazaki movie if my spouse grabs it, but I won't seek them out.

There was just too much fan service, filler, and melodrama. Not enough substance to make it worth it. My last attempt was My Hero Academia. It was all the tropes I was tired of and I couldn't get into it. My friend who was watching it with me said it was satirizing those tropes, but I had given up.

I'm sure there are some incredible shows I'm missing out on, and I definitely don't judge those who still enjoy it. I just don't line up with the grooves anymores.

They are great for ambient noise based on the surroundings. You can also do one or two 'instant' sounds like a large door booming. Any more than that and it starts to feel like a radio dj testing all the fart sounds in their mixer.

Esteemed character actress Margo Martindale.

Same here. I was 10 images in and thought it was a little overblown. Picture 11 was the kitchen.

Is this actually what they are referring to with that acronym? Because that was my first thought too but I am hoping I'm wrong.

That last line is one reason we're able to fish successfully. Even large fish tire out because they can't pull enough oxygen from the water to struggle forever.

I feel for you, man. Thank you for sharing. Hopefully you feel a little better after letting it out.

Are you seeing someone about your anxiety? That seems like the primary issue. My spouse is a stay-at-home parent while I work full time and I still have all the responsibilities on your list. It's often stressful, but that's being a parent. If it's pushing you into anxiety attacks then you definitely need to address that first.

You'll also have to be clear on your limits. If she wants you to organize playdates and you don't have any time left then make it clear they won't get organized. There are only so many hours in a day.

If it's just piano then it's basically Muzak. The bus itself may even be playing some imperceptibly which you can harmonize with.

I've tried headphones with babies before and it's hit or miss. One would howl instantly if you put them on him while another loved them.

Seems like you found the least intrusive way to keep your kid calm, which I think most people will appreciate.

I saw an article about keelhauling and realized I don't know much about pirates (those on the sea, not the internet) beyond what I've seen in movies. Tell me your most interesting pirate facts. Mythical or historical.

My son is obsessed with Mario LEGO and had his own little table in the corner of the LEGO room. It was overflowing and my wife hated how messy it looked. While she was away for a few days I made this.

Two partial sheets of 3/4" birch plywood with French cleats attached, painted white, were mounted on the walls. Then the desk just slots into the second-lowest cleat, using the bottom cleat as support.

As he grows we can raise the desk a couple times, eventually bringing it up to 29" from the ground which is about regular desk height.

I also made a few shelves and a box for him to organize with out of the plywood scrap.

He likes that he can rearrange his storage as he pleases. I made a couple more medium-sized shelves that aren't pictured, and I may someday make a corner triangular shelf for Bowser to sit on.
