That helps, thanks.

I'm in the process of getting a new printer and since I recently (December 2024) switched to Linux it would be nice if it would be Linux compatible. So far I've decided on the Canon PIXMA G550 printer but I can't find anything about it's compatibility so I figured I would just ask here in the hopes someone might have the same printer or knows someone who has the same printer and can tell me if this printer works with Linux. If all else fails I could still use the printer with my tablet or phone using Canons app but using it with my desktop would be much more comfortable.

It's still an important distinction IMO

What makes you consider a distro as US centered?

For me just using Firefox on Linux seems to be enough to trigger them.

Why not both?

Zombie by The Cranberries. I just can't stand it.

I was talking about the point you made in your first paragraph. Where businesses would suddenly start providing their apps only in third party stores.

If this were to happen it would have happened on Android a long time ago but it didn't.

But did you progress more than if you had concentrated on one project at a time? That's the point they are trying to make.

I've been doing some voice training by reading to my mum from a book (Cornelia Funke's "Drachenreiter" in German) and I've recorded me while reading 2 chapters each in these recordings:

I just wanted some feedback from people who don't know me personally on how it sounds. If it sounds feminine or if you have some tips on how to improve maybe.

Can anyone recommend European brands for loupes (jewelers loupes) and precision scales (0.01g)?

So far I've found https://www.xtorm.de/collections/cables from the Netherlands and https://recable.eu/ from Germany. Do you know any additional ones?

I was surprised by how much I've changed in the last month. And in this photo I look so different compared to when I look in the mirror.

Right now I'm at 11 months HRT and had 12 laser hair removal sessions. I'm 32 years old and you can check out my profile for any previous progress pics.

Anyone else struggling to avoid Amazon because of the price of some things? I need 3M Tegaderm for example and on Amazon it cost 28€ for 10cm by 10m roll and on other sites that are not Amazon I can only find it for pretty much double the price (shop-apotheke.com has it for 58,40€ https://www.shop-apotheke.com/arzneimittel/3816512/3m-tegaderm-roll-10-cm-x-10-m.htm and medizinbedarf.eu has it for 49,60€ https://www.medizinbedarf.eu/3M-Tegaderm-Roll-Transparentverband-unsteril-10-cm-x-10-m). Stuff like this really makes it difficult.

Anyone know where I can find this as cheap as on Amazon or at least not much more expensive?
