Omg, I’m actually glad you mentioned it because I totally missed it!! I actually have to get around to reading the rest of the Sprawl books. Rereading Neuromancer now and might just keep going in the others.

Nothing, I was just saying that it’s a cool cyberpunk corporation name. For me the gaudy names like Meta and X are a little on the nose, true evil lurks under a veneer of banality which I think names like TA have.

I mean, they’re no Tessier-Ashpool,SA. or anything.

I always liked the other one where Garfield was left in but all his thought bubbles were removed, so it just became a deadpan documentary about a slightly unhinged loser’s life with a cat.

…which many of us can relate to. :P

I really liked what Voyager had with the basic episodic format but with a slow accumulated progress over time. It’s a happy medium between totally disconnected eps and hyper-serialized continuous stories.

Oh god, I forgot about that! Season 1 of this show just really needs to be chucked into a memory hole. I don’t understand how people defend it as “the only decent season of DSC.” It’s absolutely wretched by every measure, but even more so when measured against the tone and optimism that’s vital to Trek. Subsequent seasons are fumbling messes, sure, but the first is a special kind of awful.

And you are are making us all happy by sharing Trek memes, and that will eventually make it back to you. Steady as she goes, Ensign! 🚀❤️
