You’re onto something here. The missing piece is people are forgetting knowledge is transferable and they keep putting all these things into boxes that have to be checked off without looking at the big picture. Kids can grasp concepts.
Teachers are now being expected to teach our children everything under the sun in a very pointed way. Parents are being absolved of all responsibility to teach them anything or to reinforce concepts introduced at school. Take your kids grocery shopping. Tell them how much money there is in the food budget and let them be part of the process. This is the way.
I’m in favour of teaching financial basics but, I think, the last thing these kids need is another test to take to graduate. Way back in the olden days of the 1980s there was a high school course that taught things like budgeting and investing and the power of compound interest. I forget what is was called - Consumer something or other

I have heard that if Ford likes your idea and you make a compelling case things happen. We all know the squeaky wheels are getting the grease in Ontario; especially if it has deep pockets too!
Rae was elected in 1990 so it’s just ridiculous Ontarians hold that kind of grudge! Bob Rae, himself, certainly hasn’t suffered. PET implemented wage and price controls but you don’t see people in Federal elections saying that’s why they aren’t voting Libreral! This Conservative government has the largest cabinet in the province’s history and is spending money like it’s water on the most inane things while the things of import are languishing. There better be a change next election

I think it’s really weird too since he doesn’t drink alcohol but, I guess, he thinks the people who do will vote for him. I think this is a case of the last person who talks to him gets what they want. The company that makes the bags was lobbying hard.

It’s two weeks until the official start of summer and the season isn’t long here in Ontario but the Pepto Palace still isn’t open for business. There was talk of a giveaway weekend but I haven’t heard anything since then! Wonder what’s up.
Looks like she’s alone with her BFF, Phone, and they’re having some real quality time. Now that she’s, hopefully, exhausted content from last weekend and is looking at it get smaller in the rear view mirror there isn’t a whole lot going on. She’s back in her regular life having to do the day-to-day and doesn’t have anything new to post. So, she’s taste testing a soda only available in the US.
It been two weeks and they’re, only now, getting the downstairs kitchen up and running? Does she think she’s coming off as relatable to followers by filming herself doing the work we do many times in a day?
I am sick and tired of Princess Sarah getting her own way through whatever means possible. I am very curious as to how she managed to get the Reddit shutdown but imagine she got help from IT Magic Guy and her Neighbour. They both don’t seem to have much to do and are there to serve at the pleasure of Her Majesty. We can’t let her win this one because her manipulative business practices have to be brought to light. Remember how validated you felt when you googled to see if other people felt the same way about this fraud. It felt so good knowing others saw through her act.
Princess Sarah went to a launch party for Ariana’s new lame podcast and managed to make her post all about her! She said women need to celebrate their achievements just as men celebrate touchdowns etc. You know she wants someone to throw her a “Yoire a real model now” party!
She’s being extra vapid the last couple of days and I don’t know if it’s a hangover from pretending she’s just one of the SI Model Crew or if it’s real. She doesn’t know how to figure out if she’s been a mother more than half her life. Really? Can’t figure out that when the child is the age she was when she had her then the child is half her age? Not that hard.
Is anyone surprised? This is just how Doug and the gang do business and see absolutely nothing wrong with it.
