Personally, I’m skipping the Switch 2 because I used my Switch 1 like four times since its launch.

The Switch 2 will likely have games similar to ones that came before it, so if you haven’t been tempted into trying those, you probably won’t be into the new ones.

Like, I’d want the Switch 2 for Mario Kart World but then realized that I played Kart 8 like twice. Online play didn’t scratch the itch, my wife sucked at it, and it was hard to get a group IRL together to play often.

Maybe try emulating some of the older versions of games you’re interested in. It’ll at least give you an idea of how much fun you’d have on the newer versions.

Also ask yourself if you’re a handheld gamer. I don’t think I am which is why I also don’t use my steam deck ever.

Yeah the pill is a great tool but can definitely have its side effects. I know my wife on it had a terribly low libido to the point we joked that’s how it kept you from getting pregnant

If you spatchcock your bird then you’ve only gotta slap your cock to about 150°F at the thickest part of breast

If I know someone actively wants a response then I’ll give one because I’m not a dick. From your examples it’s pretty clear you wanted one.

Depends on the context. I’ll often not reply to my wife if I can’t think of anything or it doesn’t really require a response.

From what you wrote it probably wouldn’t be normal.

My wife will send me photos of like spiders and snakes which is fun but after the tenth photo I’ll probably reply a bit slower

On a lighter note, I’ve been looking for Nexus alternatives. I found this one site that advertised itself as like a censorship-resistant host.

I was like, “Oh, that’s pretty cool. I wonder if they host the mods that Nintendo kills off or things like that.” It was not that…

I go to the site, and all the posts on the front page are like, “Restoring the hard r in game Xenoblade.”

My personal favorite was:

Brother, it’s Harry Potter which is not exactly a thing you can’t live without lmfao

You’re making it sound like they’re asking you to give up breathing

My desktop has a folder called “crap” where when my desktop starts to look cluttered I drag everything into a new folder then put that into the crap folder.

Going through the crap folder is like digging through sedimentary layers of dead shortcuts.lnk and .txt files to get a glimse of the past

Very disappointing

While I’ve the most hours in RuneScape compared to any other game, I’ve also felt the most homophobia in it than any other game (and I’m a straight guy!)

Had to kick two people out of the clan last year just because it broke their brains and they wouldn’t stfu about the Pride event. The event was just a tiny little blip on the map that gave you a Pride flag cape.

seems like magic

Hey dawg, it’s bad practice to use magic vars or nums

Two investigative reporters for a tabloid magazine track down across country "The Night Flier", a serial killer who travels by private plane stalking victims in rural airports. One of the reporters, Richard Dees, begins to suspect that "the Night Flier could perhaps be a vampire". — Humberto Amador

It’s interesting that the instructions want you to cup your hands around the nipple instead of just spraying yourself directly

I was curious how much those blue barrels you see bodies buried in cost

If you’re feeling fancy and hate microplastics you can upgrade to steel barrels for only $50 more!

Might not be super obscure but as a lifelong LoTR fan and new Trek fan this was my first watch!

Hey, sorry for the meta post! Please please delete this post if this doesn’t fit here.

I love this sub but there’s been a few movies where I love the cover and the movie isn’t very popular (these day?) but I don’t post it because it’s a once popular film.

Some examples are like

They Live (carpenter)

Mars Attacks

In the Mouth of Madness

I love all of those but fear they’re too well known or had too big of a budget to be B movies.

Like I love the activity on this sub but don’t want to accidentally co opt it into just being movies I love haha

I feel like this movie got/gets a lot of hate but as someone who was never a big fan of slashers it’s my absolute favorite Halloween franchise film!

So we’ve played a little MTGA online so we’re a little comfortable with the game but have no idea how to get into physical cards.

We’re interested in having mainly only LoTR ones but weren’t sure what to buy at the store.

Online it looks like there’s starters and boosters but what would be the best way to get like a lot of LoTR mainly cards?

Thanks!
