Serious question though.

How do people deal with exiting these roundbaouts in Europe?

Nobody in america uses them (edit in: turn signals) when exiting and im stuck there waiting for a spot to clear, or until someone decides to let me know theyre exiting. It doesnt help theyre the smallest roundabouts they could possibly make. Everyone behind me gets mad, but just entering is like playing a game of chicken.

Do people in europe have the same issue, and they've just learned to time it better / have more space between entrances and exits, or are people more courteous, and use their damn turn signals.?

I'm not Gen Z and I hate the damn sex scenes. There was a minute there where netflix would just add one within 15 mins of every show or movie, even if they never showed another one again. It never added to the plot and seemed like it was just there to reel people in. But, it was obnoxious.

Glad they sort of stopped that, although I still find it happens now and again. Hopefully this puts the nail in the coffin.

Maybe I am a prude. So what!

While I didn't have the exact same problem, I did have issues seeing all the comments on any given post. If I was signed out I could see them all.

I went to the instance setting in my browsers (not an app) and changed the language settings to include both the default (unsure of that's what it's called exactly) and English settings. I haven't had an issue since.

Hope that helps!

Awesome, thanks! I'll check it out.

what went into the meta analysis and why? What data might be missing from the meta review and why? Is only including double blind randomized controlled trials the best research method to answer the specific question being addressed? Was everything included together actually comparable?

The critiques / rebuttals to the masking review typcially ask these questions. This review almost falls apart after considering the answers.

If there's not enough information to form a solid conclusion, maybe they have no business analyzing it until there is. At the very least, if they're going to include partially unrelated studies, then reflect that in the title / opening statement. Don't say the analysis is of apples, then analyze fruit in general.

Yeah, accidentally got the alarm too. I think it started a countdown to actually dialing 911, but didnt make it to 0 before i cancelled it. Well, I hope thats what it was anyways. Freaked me out.

Then I started thinking about if it did that when I was actually in trouble. I mean, if i was being held at gunpoint, I don't think I want a giant alarm going off. I worry that would be a great way to get myself shot.

But, then I was ultimately thankful for it, in the circumstance at least, cause then it definitely would have dialed 911 and wouldn't have known...

I still wish there was a way to call silently though. Or, maybe there is, but im not gonna purposefully get to the point where I could find out.

I've actually tried to have the bank, on multiple occasions, cut me off when my balance hit zero.

They refused. But I can link it to my savings so they can charge me $5 to transfer $100 from my savings to prevent the $35 overdraft fee. No, they won't alert you when they are transferring it. Yes, they will keep perform multiple transfers until you deposit more money / your savings runs out.

I know the banks need to make money, but aren't there any legitimate ways they could do so without screwing people over in the process.

I used to work at a vet clinic. Almost all the cats with new urinary blockages ate fancy feast, cat chow, or some similar Wal-Mart brand.

I would feel bad even feeding feral cats that crap.

As you submit your biometric face data... Pretty sure turbo tax didn't make me scan my ID and take a selfish / video conference.

I dunno. Is it more secure, or is it a hack waiting to happen?

Slightly off point, but I just turned on the news stations for the first time concerning this whole mess. On ABC? They were interviewing a Palestinian Woman from University. She said she wasn't leaving even if they did open the boarder. Someone else i know heard others say the same thing but from a young man and older people. They essentially said that of they left, they would be giving Isreal what it wanted. Flip to CNN. They have live footage of the boarder crossing. Maybe 100 people were waiting there.

Of course, any cilivians wanting out should be able to get out, and maybe it's all just propaganda, but, it seems like most all want to stay, regardless of whether the boarder opens up or not.
