Kind of a dumb take, just say your attention span is too short to watch long form analyses lol

I think you know the answer to that in your heart

Dissection is an essential part of teaching about anatomy. It's not necessary in highschool, where 95% of the students will never need it, but in higher Ed it's absolutely required and digital dissection is not a replacement (but still a valuable supplemental teaching tool)

It's a supplement, not a replacement.

I haven't seen specifically cooking, but there have been quite a few papers about mixing task-instruction LLMs with task-execution robot arms (like they use in manufacturing) to perform simple tasks given only a plain English instruction. Eg, "pick up the red ball and place it in the blue bowl". Very cool research but still very new.

My favorite part about British prescriptivism is that when the languages diverged, many of the changes in pronunciation were initiated in British English while American English kept the originals. Of course that's not universally true but I always giggle when I see one brought up in that context.

Yeah it's definitely possible but it means you're supporting multiple APIs and the main dev(s?) for Voyager may not want to take on the extra responsibility. You could always PR it in though :)

I don't see anywhere on the Voyager readme that is supports kbin instances. kbin and Lemmy are two different backbends that have similar looking front ends. The federation between them is through activitypub, which is why you can see content from kbin instances. I think you would need an app designed for working with kbin directly.

Lemmy(software) shouldn't buy ads but I don't think there's any reason an individual instance shouldn't buy ads if they choose to. Whether or not that will bring users that are worth having, is a different story entirely.
