I love it. Don't be ashamed, you were telling the world you were open to trying new things and being adventurous. Finding your own style rather than following the mainstream is sexy. I used to be that way and slowly confirmed and now I'm trying to get back to my younger self, where I cared less about what others thought.

I misread, thought Bottas posted that

I'm too lazy and that sounds like hard work. Much rather roll a few barrels down a street :D

I was thinking more booting him into the sea but I'll take that outcome too.

Scotland never wanted to leave in the first place. I believe there's strength in sticking with the other EU members (esp as I currently live in the US and feel the differences between US legislation and EU legislation most days e.g. right to repair) and I believe a lot of what people were sold on (particularly farmers and fishermen) to vote leave was inaccurate.

Bread, check. Cheese, check. Wine better be next otherwise, these criminal masterminds are only halfway to having a good time.

Just be careful it's legal if she's planning to store work emails on a non work approved repository. My company does not allow this and have checks and / or blocks in place to catch people doing it.

I just answered on the other lemmy post (about are you on here 100%) but I'm not a tech person. I googled alternatives, plus I understood the benefits of federation so that's how I came to Lemmy.

Left reddit as soon as the blackout happened, was actually impressed at myself being able to stay off it. Haven't been back except when I google a question, and the answer is on an old reddit thread (I do not reply or comment).

My opinion is Lemmy needs more communities and more DAUs. Have been trying to tell people why they should switch but I'm not techy, my friends are not techy and they just don't care about data/ownership etc. I'm hoping reddit shits the bed further so more laypeople jump ship.

Same goes for mastodon which needs more content although I only previously used twitter on days with big events (oscars, grammys, f1 race days etc).

So sad :(

Took way longer than it should have but happy it's finished, how it turned out, and in time for autumn! One skein, relatively easy intro to cables I guess, hard part was just remembering numbers.
