I highly recommend this novel. I enjoyed every minute of the read.
So for transparency sake for the backups we are using dockerized restic with a script that dumps the database and encrypts and uploads to backblaze b2 for us automatically at 5am UTC.
I have it configured currently to
- Keep the last snapshot.
- Keep the last 7 daily snapshots.
- Keep the last 4 weekly snapshots.
- Keep the last 3 monthly snapshots.
- Keep the last yearly snapshot.
So we have a nice range of restore points if needed.

I cannot die in peace until the wrongs are righted with a good adaptation of my boy Percy and his pals.
Yay! I've been waiting eagerly for you to post a review here. I picked up Babel after you mentioned it in a different thread and I sat down and read it in under 24 hours. It was such a fantastic, far reaching and moving narrative that touched on so many societal issues. I love love love this novel and already bought copies for my friends.
To me, most of Ken Liu's writing follows that same pattern. I push myself to get through the first part because the reward is a poetical and moving second part.
If the choices are to continue to sell these books at book fairs and to not sell them and they are now allowing schools to not sell them, it seems like they caved, correct?
