I’m reading “Own It” by Tabatha Coffey, who was a breakout star on a hairstyling reality show on Bravo. I think that tells you everything you need to know, lol. My husband got it as a joke to fill out an EBay order years ago. I was cleaning out our bookshelf (to make room for more books, obviously) and was like, okay, I’ll read this and then get rid of it. That’s my normal policy, but IDK if I will finish this one, lol.
I’ve had less time to read than I thought over the last week so I’m still only midway through Tessa Miyata is No Hero by Julie Abe, but I am enjoying that quite a bit.
I've been listening to the Pale Blue Dot audiobook. I am not quite sure what I was expecting and it probably wasn't this, but I'm enjoying it none-the-less.
Bag of bones. Put it down 5 times within the first 3 chapters bc I was on the verge of tears and couldnt read and in public transport. Death of a child or wife always does that to me.
I'm reading Ten Myths About Israel by Ilan Pappé (an Israeli academic), it's pretty interesting so far. I think it's supposed to be an introduction to Israel and Palestine and aimed at people who don't know anything about it, so if anyone's curious, I might recommend it (I haven't finished it yet so I can't say if it's good or not).
I finished reading the Fourth Wing last week and have started reading it's sequel Iron Flame.
A super reductive description of the series would be: Harry Potter meets Dragons. But it's been fun and got me out of my reading rut, so yay!
Well I was right in the middle of a book when 2 library holds became available at once so now I just started The Fraud by Zadie Smith. I'm also listening to Black River Orchard by Chuck Wendig.
