Original Title: LPT: If you're petting a cat's belly & they bite you, don't pull your hand away. They're not actually being a**holes. Most of the time they're just playing. Hold your hand there & wiggle about it as they play-kill your hand.


Of note, some cats don't know how to do this skillfully yet and might bite too hard.

Just stop playing the moment they do this and you can slowly train them to do it gently.
