I've been trying and trying to get a team lead position at my store for well over a year now. I’ve applied and had three interviews and never had any luck. Well, I’m going from the deli/bakery department to a temporary team lead spot in the produce department very soon. I’m excited, but I know it’s temporary… hence the position title. I want to know if anyone has any advice or keys to success in that area because I barely have any floor experience besides deli freight. I’m nervous, but going to try to take the opportunity to the fullest. I’ve been an assistant manager at a restaurant before, so I hope my experience helps me. I appreciate any help you can provide.
