Figured I'd ask here since there really isn't an active Skyrim community I can find on Lemmy.

Been playing Skyrim since launch and doing a long playthrough right now. This game is awesome, but it pisses me off that you can't actually SORT chests or even label them. So I have to fucking scroll though hundreds of items if I'm looking for something. It's a pain in the ass, and was wondering if anyone knew of any Xbox mods that can sort it all out. I am aware that SkyUI does this, but alas...no port due to SKSE features.

As far as I know, there isn't one. SKSE is required because Skyrim didn't provide the right scripting functionality to touch that at all, and SKSE overrides the exe to hack it in itself.

Xbox doesn't let you override the executable, so has no access to that part.

Huh, did a look around and I'm kind of surprised to find that there isn't even a very active Elder Scrolls community (at least that's federated with world) given the popularity of the series.

For the time being you may want to try asking in general games/video games communities that allow for it, e.g. !games@lemmy.world, as it looks to allow for non-news posts & no rule against posts about specific games. Also for anyone curious, a few of the existing Elder Scrolls communities may be found here:

!elderscrolls@lemmy.ml
!elderscrolls@lemm.ee
!tes@lemmy.world

As OP noted though, none of these are terribly active at the moment.
