Is no one going to point out that she woke up feeling like P Diddy?

[–] abbotsbury@lemmy.world 3 points 12 hours ago

I'm more concerned about the Jack Daniels oral care tbh

[–] Chronographs@lemmy.zip 48 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Pointless because she merely says she is what starts a party, not that her presence is required for a party to continue once started.

[–] stebo02@sopuli.xyz 22 points 1 day ago (2 children)

that's the point. she walks in, the party starts, she walks out, the party continues, she walks in again, the party should start again, creating a paradox as the party was already going

[–] katze@lemmy.cafe 44 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

No, no, no. A party doesn't start until she walks in; it doesn't start when she walks in. So a party has no obligation to start again if it's already in progress.

Nah it's like using the ignition on an already running car engine.

It makes the neighing sounds, but the car is already running, so no effect.

The catalyst, not the fuel

[–] Archangel1313@lemmy.ca 80 points 1 day ago (2 children)

This is what the internet is for.

Agreed. More like this, please. Somebody link me.

Edit: This synopsis of Regulate by Nate Dogg and Warren G on Wikipedia is another good example.

Finally, an article that does a deep dive into every question I had about that song. This was much needed in my life; thank you for sharing it.

That's actually the best thing i have read so far today

Do you ever think that some of us shitposting weirdos will be thought of the same way as Plato in, like, a thousand years if all our internet shitposting was kept around that long?

And until someone is brave enough to stand on their shoulders and do it better, the only one who will be remembered.

[–] felsiq@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 day ago

I think Ken M has this

What if she changes her mind? She's the law maker, so she can do whatever she wants and math has to adjust.

[–] Contramuffin@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago

Can she make a law that she cannot break? Checkmate Christians

[–] P1k1e@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago

Did you guys just make math cool?....I'm horrified

[–] roguetrick@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago

till

There was no cash-drawer in there, right? What kind of party was it?!?

Till is a synonym of until and has existed in English longer than 'til

Headline could be an MTV reality show.

"Science, bitch!"
