[–] 800XL@lemmy.world 11 points 6 hours ago

Not saying someone should dox and swat the proud boys, but they do need a huge order of pizzas delivered.

[–] aesthelete@lemmy.world 6 points 6 hours ago

This administration full of dumb assholes will probably pay them too.

[–] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 1 points 6 hours ago

[–] altphoto@lemmy.today 14 points 16 hours ago

Settlement for $500million and a sincere presidential appo....$500million, coming right up!

[–] StoneyPicton@lemmy.ca 162 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

I'm not one for conspiracy theories but I do look at as many angles as I can think of. This seems like a perfect opportunity to settle out of court and thus funnel millions of tax dollars to a militia that will serve trump to the end.

[–] FordBeeblebrox@lemmy.world 6 points 9 hours ago

This isn’t a theory, white protecting white is baked into the founding documents of this country. Of course it’s a scam to funnel money, that’s all they do

I'm 100% convinced these Nazi militias make up the majority of the "ICE agents" we're seeing. That's why they don't identify themselves. These fuckers deserve anything they get.

Which is hopefully handfuls of lead.

[–] FordBeeblebrox@lemmy.world 3 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Be sure to adjust your sights at a range before sending lead, practice practice practice

[–] dinren@discuss.online 1 points 5 hours ago

Fucking brown shirt bootlickers

[–] GiovanniBruzzolini@aussie.zone 41 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

I know I'm commenting from different country, but the following quote by a judge in Australia is always worth keeping in the back of your head if you manage to get let off a serious crime...

Having escaped the lion’s den, Mr Lehrmann made the mistake of coming back for his hat

That was a line said by a judge in Australia during his conclusion of a very high profile rape case.

The story,

Bruce Lehrmann faced charges of rape. This case was very big in Australia because the rape occurred in an office at Parliament House and the government covered it up because there was an election coming up.

The criminal trial was abandoned because the case was having a very detrimental effect on the victim's mental health.

Later, Bruce Lehrmann sued a number of journalists for defamation... And lost... So now Bruce Lehrmann is forever branded a rapist. The judge delivered the above quote during his final decision.

[–] Gradually_Adjusting@lemmy.world 23 points 21 hours ago

While I love that scenario, I think the likelier outcome in this case is that a lot of taxpayer money goes straight towards energising brownshirts.

Aren't they working for ICE now? I'm so confused

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 66 points 1 day ago (5 children)

Trump will make the government pay it and they'll still have their ICE jobs

Fucking traitors. And it’s up to us to impose justice on them.

[–] blattrules@lemmy.world 36 points 22 hours ago (3 children)

I’m not for capital punishment, but they should have just killed these guys.

[–] Initiateofthevoid@lemmy.dbzer0.com 15 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

You remove them by putting them in jail. Allowing capital punishment for anyone inevitably allows it for innocents. It is a weapon of the state, and should not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The problem wasn't the incarceration of Proud Boys, it was the lack of incarceration for the fascists who enabled them.

[–] Soulg@ani.social 10 points 16 hours ago

And also said fascists just letting all of those criminals out of jail early

[–] Wahots@pawb.social 4 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

I would have settled for them being deported to South Sudan.

[–] blattrules@lemmy.world 1 points 11 hours ago

I don’t know if that’s far enough away.

[–] LemmyIsReddit2Point0@lemmy.world 7 points 21 hours ago (2 children)

That would make them a martyr and just cause more turds to float to the surface so we can fill even more ditches. Sounds like a good plan.

[–] GiuseppeAndTheYeti@midwest.social 14 points 20 hours ago (3 children)

Yeah, let's just keep taking the moral high road. Eventually shitty people will just stop existing. There's no reason to actively work on removing them. 🥴

Shit will keep flowing into a sewage treatment plant if you don't treat the sewage. In the end you just end up with a mountain of shit to deal with and the problem is much more difficult to manage.

Make America flush turds again

[–] MyOpinion@lemmy.today 28 points 22 hours ago

Can we send them to El Salvador when they come to court like we are doing with other poor people?

[–] RedditIsDeddit@lemmy.world 20 points 23 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Chozo@fedia.io 22 points 22 hours ago

I just checked with my attorneys, Smith & Wesson Esq., and they say yes.

[–] DancingBear@midwest.social 12 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Don’t you have to admit guilt to receive a pardon?

[–] RhondaSandTits@lemmy.sdf.org 9 points 19 hours ago

That's been the general understanding but may not be true. Up until 2016, America has relied on the government respecting the conventional way a lot of things are done. But there have been the occasional deviation.

It was controversial when Ford pardoned Nixon for not specifying what he was being pardoned for.

Last year Biden pardoned his son to protect him from possible persecution by a future government, also controversial.

Who knows, maybe Trump will shit out a tweet tomorrow declaring these idiots are completely innocent of any crime. Any challenge to that would need to be heard by the Supreme Court. Would the current Supreme Court intervene, I doubt it.

Your simple, one sentence question had given me way too much to think about.

[–] hemmes@lemmy.world 9 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Man, they could’ve just taken the already corrupt pardon but, no, let’s keep fucking around to find out.

[–] Bristlecone@lemmy.world 4 points 17 hours ago

Just leave off the "find out" part, since anyone with Trump loyalty is untouchable. I think Trump would love to give the proud bitches a bunch of money

[–] ryedaft@sh.itjust.works 10 points 23 hours ago

I like to think I'm not a violent man but

[–] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 8 points 22 hours ago

Wait, what?

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 4 points 21 hours ago

Make Trump pay for it.
