Still looking for more players to do a BG3 playthrough! Using Discord as chat. We've got a few people interested but figure why not the more the merrier? Set up a couple games, right? Looking at any kind of mods, or none at all. Figured we'd all have a chat on what kind of game we wanna play first! Just send me a message if interested.
And it was going to 100% be scheduled ala a real dnd game. So no sporadic or anything, make sure we all got some time to play together.
I feel like if you're going to get a group that shows up on the regular you might as well just play regular DND?
They might not have people up to being a DM, which, as a past DnD DM... I understand.
Funnily, two of us are experienced DMs, but I think we're both tired of being DM. At least, I've literally never played actual DnD as a player and I DM'd for a group for 5 years.
Yeah this is my point. I have a large group of players, but none of them are up to DMing. I moved to Savage Worlds because it is easier to understand, and might be able to persuade my players into becoming DMs, but I haven't achieved it yet unfortunately.
Same. I haven't played since A2E, but I get asked to dm fairly regularly. I'm getting kind of tired of it.
I've always had trouble finding players, not DMs, but yeah could be.

Kind of interesting, but I have it on ps5 not steam. Waiting for a sale to get it on steam bc idk if I can deal with another playthrough with controller organization of items/abilities.
Thats fair. My switch from PS5 to PC was like night and day. Going back is like chopping off an arm.

I believe it did, just saying idk if I want to even do it with the way it is organized when using a controller. May just wait for a steam sale
That's fair. Although I think they did the best they could with how complicated the game is, playing as any form of caster gets cumbersome real quick, especially from lvl 5 and on.
