Gambling ads need to go the way of cigarette ads.

As someone who's lived in both BC and Ontario after private online gambling was legalized... no, no, no, no, no, don't do it!

They make it seem like you can't lose. The ads are f'n everywhere and annoying af.

Having watched a little tv in the last 5 years, I have to agree. If it's not reverse mortgage scams or shady boner pills and ask-your-doctor ads, it's some "free to play" casino.

I'm not a gambler. Slots, craps, and roulette hold little interest and I wonder whether that's why. Are they exploiting addiction? I worry they are in a big way.

I’m a degenerate gambler. (Gambling and food are my addictions. I’m working at dealing with both.)

I’m disturbed by the rise of online gambling.

I hate seeing gambling everywhere nowadays. I know it’s a symptom of our sick societies, where only suckers work because work won’t get anyone but your boss wealthy, so gaming becomes an escape where one hopes to not need to do that which instead becomes a trap where one can only do that.
