Yes. What’s your question?

[–] futatorius@lemm.ee 16 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago)

The market has spoken.

Musk is fishing for government compensation, isn't he?

[–] MoonRaven@feddit.nl 15 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

He is getting close, it's A reason he's hated, but Europe also hates him.

[–] digdilem@lemmy.ml 3 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago)

His interfering with European politics is despised over here - promoting far-right groups in Germany, France and the UK deliberately to destabilise our countries. The man is genuinely dangerous to all democracies, not just the US.

[–] andallthat@lemmy.world 4 points 20 hours ago

And ex co-workers. And most of his family. DOGE is making the person Musk more known and (judging by these precedents) knowing Musk better doesn't seem to be conducive to liking him more

[–] Nunar@lemmy.world 17 points 23 hours ago

The tesla grants from the government should be chainsawed! Just like the SpaceX and starlink grants! $38B in savings....

[–] SkunkWorkz@lemmy.world 5 points 18 hours ago

lol yeah right institutional investors are selling their stocks because of political reasons. LOL no stock went down long before Teslas were burning and before the data of dropping sales came out. It's because you are a fuck head Elon you are the CEO of Tesla you are supposed to run the company not pretend you are the president. These big investors really don't like it when the CEO of a company they own is being distracted doing other things.

[–] Wispy2891@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago

In the TV they interviewed a Tesla dealership employee: "no, the orders didn't went down, we're unaffected"

Bruh.

Car registration data is public. Registrations of Teslas went down 40% yoy even with a €4000 discount.

Tesla go down, Lexus go up

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's the nazi salute, elon. It was the nazi salute all along.

[–] orcrist@lemm.ee 6 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

It was that plus a lot of other things.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 1 points 16 hours ago

I agree. It rarely is ever just one thing. I do put the nazi salute at the top of the list though.

Burn baby BURN!!

[–] havocpants@lemm.ee 2 points 20 hours ago

oh, very good reference, well done

[–] derfunkatron@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago

I mean, yeah. That was kinda the point.

I’m glad he connected the dots, but he’s incapable of having a true moment of self reflection.

[–] karl_chungus@lemm.ee 22 points 1 day ago (1 children)

If the Tesla board has any intelligence left, they will push him out.

They deserve all the hurt incurred so far for not doing it yet, and will deserve to go under if they don’t in time.

[–] 13igTyme@lemmy.world 6 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

The board are just his friends and yes-men.

[–] karl_chungus@lemm.ee 2 points 14 hours ago

I’m aware and meant what I said.

[–] fossilesque@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Elon doesn't act like a person who has friends.

[–] 13igTyme@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

He's rich. He's going to have "friends".

[–] ThraawnSolo@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 1 day ago

Boo fucking hooooooo!!!

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Good. Fuck him.

[–] sucrerey@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

has he tried doing more nazi salutes? maybe thats good for the brand,...

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Thoughts and prayers

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Must be why most ceos don't do stuff like that

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Nah they just do it more quietly

[–] michel@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

What sucks is on the way down, between Trump’s tariff and preference for ICEs and foreign markets retaliating, he’ll take down the other US EV players. The ones run by what seems like genuinely nice people like Rivian and Lucid.

In the greater scheme of things it wouldn’t matter so much, but quite a shame.

[–] SkunkWorkz@lemmy.world 2 points 18 hours ago

Good. Rivian CEO said fElon's ties with Drumpf is good for the EV industry. LOL fuck 'em Rivian can sink as well.

[–] pjwestin@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

That's definitely part of it. I would say the trucks that are literally becoming unglued (while the CEO is figuratively) are causing equal, if not greater, damage.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

Good. Make it really hurt.

[–] Fingolfinz@lemmy.world 1 points 23 hours ago

Man sets fire to his own house .... complains that his house is on fire

[–] JacksonLamb@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

It's probably an insurance fire.

This crying is all theater. There will be an angle to it for Musk and the other oligarchs.

Really? It’s not about people pushing the propaganda? It’s about you doing a shit job?

Wow. Who woulda thunk it

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 14 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Poor baby. I still don't understand why all the austerity measures. Because when donvict came into office, he was handed an economy with very, very great numbers.

I mean, in their fictional universe - the real reason is likely to defang any oversight of these criminals and steal as much money for themselves. The cover story they tell the idiot base is what?

[–] pleasegoaway@lemm.ee 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

The austerity is an attempt to offset the money the US will lose from tax cuts for the ultra wealthy.

It’s their way of giving the appearance of a balanced budget.

In reality, the austerity measures are just another transfer of wealth to the ultra wealthy.

[–] Jumpingspiderman@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

When you realize that Krasnov has been a long term Russian agent, it all makes sense.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

tHe BeSt, ThE vErY bEsT

That's the thing about idiots…

If trump legit won the election, he only won by about half. I think it's fair to assume probably all dem voters do not like musk now, and I'm sure many Republicans don't either. The majority is against musk.

Fuck around and find out.

[–] Litebit@lemmy.world 49 points 2 days ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

clown is crying now his loans will be affected. suck it up. it is just business.

it is mostly you, Nazi Felon Musk, not just your random unscientific cuts.

Most people don't like swaticars.

Elon should be fired, if Felon Musk was Felon Musk boss, he would fire Felon Musk.

.

[–] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 day ago

He'll just create another company to purchase the failing company from himself, pocket the money he paid himself, and write it off on taxes.

This is all perfectly normal and signs of a functioning country.

Yeah, no shit Einstein. Did he just now figure that out?

"Gosh, this guy is a GENIUS!" - fElon's dicksucking fanbois.

[–] DaddleDew@lemmy.world 32 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It took him this long to finally understand that?

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 35 points 2 days ago (6 children)

Despite his claims to the contrary, Elon Musk is not a smart man.
