The Dems are so incredibly useless. Probably doesn't help that plenty of them are just fine going along with this nightmare. They've got theirs and their corporate donors don't want the boat rocked.

I'd like not becoming homeless, winter is still here in Wyoming
Democrats are really fucking up being the opposition.
However I can understand letting Trump fuck himself up politically and not standing in the way, except that’s going to hurt lots of people.
It's going to hurt all the people. I think they're underestimating both how secure their wealth will make them from Trump, and the backlash they'll face as the dust clears. Their complicity will be treated harshly if this ends.
My hope right now is that this leads to some kind of democratic reform. It was long overdue. The system needs to be reworked from the ground up to protect the people and society as a whole. In the best case scenario, this could change the world drastically for the better. Similar to the labor movement.
The circumstances that would breed such drastic change would probably be terrible though. But it's the one thing that I keep hoping for
"But a dog isn't allowed to play basketball!" protests Democrats as golden retriever scores another two points.
