I was replying to the part where you said Trump isn't all bad.

I get that you were trying to get across that not everything is black and white, but I mean...dang it's hard to find a good trait about the guy.

I think you gotta watch more Trump interviews. He's an authoritarian. He's told people twice that they would never need to vote again once he's in office.

He said Hitler did some good things. He wants generals like Hitler had. Shit you could make a book of Trump quotes of all the awful things he's done and said.

I mean, when federal law has been manipulated and tampered with, I think the question becomes, will people allow it to happen, or will they resist?

And at that point, I have no idea. You would be looking at mass protests and / or civil war at that point. They're either going to have to be ready to literally fight for their rights or just give up I guess. If there's no way to fight it "legally" (I use this in quotations because the GOP seems to want to change the rules so nobody can oppose them), then I suppose those are the only other two options.

I'm curious if this is the last resemblance of democracy the United States will see.

I'm worried for the people stuck in red states, and worried this is going to spread outside America again like it did in 2016. I feel like I must live in a very different world compared to rural americans. I can't imagine how a fascist authoritarian would be the logical choice ever.

I would like to think blue States will put up a fight. But I guess it depends on project 2025 and how they react to that.

If they let it happen, then idk I guess that's that.

High five for not Hitler. I swear it must be the widespread lead poisoning. Maybe we should double-check for hookworms too. They might be causing a loss of cognitive function.

I'm in Canada and see Trump bumper stickers from time to time. The province I live in is trying to do a not so stealthy push to privatized health care. Things are likely going to get worse

All I can say is that I'm really sorry. I don't understand why people are like this. Authoritarianism isn't a good thing. I don't understand how America somehow regressed further than the start of the American government.

I'm worried this will be the catalyst to things getting worse where I live, and I'm not even American. Based on 2016, this outcome won't do us any favors either. I just hope that things turn out for the best

Not a kid anymore, but I'm guilty as charged when it comes to manga. It's the only thing I'll read now aside from random stuff on the web

As a Canadian I have to deal with this rise of authoritarian BS too. Whatever America does, Canadians try to emulate. I really hope we can look back at this event as a very shitty footnote in American politics that we all can have a nervous laugh at in 50 years.

I could be facing recency bias, but it certainly feels like ever since the rise of Trump, politicians have gotten a lot more bold when it comes to authoritarian/nazi like policy. We're personally dealing with our provincial governments trying to push for privatized health care, the stripping of environmental protections, and much more.

I've never heard of this guy until today, but what a bad ass. We need more people like this in the world.

I would love to hear how they plan to resolve what feels like an inevitable unrest that will one day erupt.

I'm obviously not an expert on the subject, but the rhetoric has been so much more extreme. I hope nothing bad happens, but I have no idea how to get people to understand that an authoritarian government is bad. Do people even understand what that means? Or how living in an authoritarian state would affect their lives?

I feel like I've played a good amount of horror titles, and I find I don't really get scared much anymore.

What are some titles that scared you the most? I would love to hear your recommendations!
